“Ready?”, asked the princess.
“Ready!”, Echo and Kean shouted enthusiastically.
She told Kean and Echo everything about Jin and Mirae. They both agreed to help Minan on her plan to help Mirae confess her feelings for Jin.
“This is Helping Mirae 101!”
Kevin and Echo called Jin and told him to go to the stock room. They said Mirae was kidnapped and locked up inside. Jin quickly went to the stock room and saw Mirae sitting.
“I thought you were kidnapped? Kean and Echo told me”.
“Actually, Jin, I want to tell you that…”
“That? Are you playing around with me?”
“No, Jin!...”
Jin walked out but before he could open the door, Mirae told her words that made him stopped.
“I love you!”
He turned around to Mirae.
“I never had the courage to confess to you and I am so thankful for Minan because he gave me this courage. Jin, we’ve become friends for a long time. I suppressed my feelings for you for almost 12 years for our friendship to be safe…but...I can’t do the same thing for another 12 years, or another 12 years again, or forever.” Tears started to fall from Mirae’s eyes, tears apart of it makes her feel glad. She has confessed it now.
“I’m sorry, Mirae. I’m so sorry. You are special to me but I can’t give you more than friends. Sorry”, then Jin walked out. Mirae was left crying.
“Minan”, Jin whispered while running and looking for the princess. His heart is beating so fast. She saw the princess at the bench. He called her.
“Jin!”, the princess is thinking if the Helping Mirae 101 has been successful. “Where is Mirae?”, she asked Jin.
“Are you numb? Why do you keep on pushing someone to others when all he wants is you?”
“Jin, what are you saying?” she’s confused. She doesn’t mean to hurt anybody. She doesn’t understand what Jin is saying. She just want to help Mirae …but she admit a part of helping Mirae is her plan to made Jin kiss Mirae so that she could go back to Heartopia.
“I love you, Minan!”, Jin shouted. The princess was surprised.
“B-but, I am a man. You can’t love someone like me-------“
“You’re not a man. I know it.”
“You knew it all along?”
“Yes. Since the day I saw you in the park. I saw you turned into a girl when the rain fell”. The princess felt like a stone standing but tried her best to speak.
“I’m sorry.. I hid it…from the whole band…I’m sorry”. The princess ran as fast as she could. She’s running again like how she ran away from the fairy to escape. She is so afraid those times so she ran away, but the feelings she’s feeling right now is more than running away from a punishment. She’s afraid Jin, Kean and Echo and the whole company won’t accept her. She is so afraid to lose people who taught him how to accept men. She’s afraid she might lose Jin, the person who taught her how to love.
The rain started to fall again. Jin’s all soaked, but doesn’t care. He is looking for Minan.
The princess turned into a girl for once again. Aside from the nice feeling she gets from being back to herself when it rains, the rain also now hides the tears keeps on falling from her eyes, for at least, nobody could know she was crying. She feels a lot of pain, pain that broke her heart into pieces. She cried and cried, the tears won’t stop…when suddenly someone pulled her.
Jin saw Minan soaked in the rain. Minan’s now a girl. Jin saw Minan as a girl for how many times. Jin quickly went to the princess and hugged her.
“Minan…I understand if you kept it from us. I know you have your own reason. I kept my feelings for you too for a long time. I kept the thing that I knew you are a girl, should I feel sorry for you and for the band too?” Jin held the princess hands tightly.
“I believe people all have secrets on themselves, it’s our choice if we will tell it or keep it a secret forever. But, one thing that I knew is that, if it is a feeling of love you are hiding, you should express it with the one you love. There’s no reason to hide it. Love shouldn’t keep as a secret. Life comes only once, and that is the best time to express how we love the people around us. So, Minan, I love you”.
“I love you too”------“But the princess you love is destined to be my slave. I will rule Heartopia from now on” she continued and laughed evilly. Laugh that she could only hear. An evil plan she has…that no one knows….
