Chapter 3: What Happened

••••••••••••••• Recap: I blacked out, and then I felt my body hit the hard ground.
Trevor's POV
We were walking down the street, heading to the pack house. We got there surprisingly quick, even after how many time we had to trace our steps going through that labyrinth thing. We finally arrived at the house, hearing noises from inside. Ricky walked in first, and saw that everything was a mess. People were fighting, and the pups were being obnoxious. Guess they can't live without the Alpha being gone for only about 2 hours. Ricky held the little girl, bridal style, and walked up into my room. He set her down on my bed, and immediately left, without saying a word. I lied next to the frail girl and fell into a deep sleep.
-3 hours later-
I woke up, seeing the little girl, or Faith, as I heard the green blob say in the labyrinth, cuddled up in the corner of the room. I got out of bed, walking towards her to see what is wrong. She quickly scooted away, as if I was some monster. Then I saw her eyes; full of fright and a little dazed. What the hell is going on?!
-Faith's POV-
~flashback~
Today was the day after my birthday. I just turned 11, and I had so much fun last night. Me and my best friend, Rebekah, stayed up all night playing Minecraft. My step mom, has been acting a little weirder than usual, but I didn't really care. I was cleaning up my mess, when I felt a cloth go over my mouth, and I blacked out.
- next day -
I woke up in a cellar, with chains on my feet. I could hear footsteps, coming down the stairs with a feminine laugh. It was nothing other my stepmother. She walked in front of the cage, with an evil smile. "Now that I've got you, no one will be in my way!" She said. " I will destroy everything you love, like you did with me!!" Okay, now she's really going nuts. I've done nothing! All she does is do meth, and practically have sex with every man in Nevada. I just sat there, looking into her eyes that were filled with a mix of anger, sadness, and regret. This must be the drugs talking then. I watched as she ran up the stairs, with a grin. Later, a man walked down, with pure rage in his eyes. He broke the cellar door open, with inhuman strength. He then grabbed me by the hair, and slammed my face into the concrete ground, breaking my glasses. " This is for breaking up with me, Amanda!" He said as he continuously kicked my ribs. He used all his strength into every punch he gave me. He finally stopped about 2 hours later. He then came back to his senses saying, " Oh my god I'm sorry." he said whispering, and then running back upstairs. I was crying until I decided to not trust anyone ever again. But in the back of my mind, I was hoping that my friends and family were okay.
Trevor's POV
I called in Ricky, Kian, Jc, Connor, and Sam to come see what was happening right now. They all quickly bursted into my room, and went all wide eyed. Ricky tried approaching her, but she screamed bloody murder, making all of us cover our ears. Ricky and Jc gave glances at each other and nodding. They quickly grab her arms and legs, and walk her to the Pack Doctor, where we could look at what is going on in her head.
-4 hours later-
We've been here for 4 hours, crying and punching walls. Faith was having a flashback, and it was pretty horrifying. It has repeated about 50 times now, wondering, ' when will it end?' This life for this child obviously been hard. No one should have to go through this. 'This is why we have to protect her!' My wolf screamed at me. The doctor came back into the room, with a clipboard filled with notes. "She will be fine, but she will need a lot of rest. She'll wake up tomorrow." We all sighed in relief. We left Faith at the doctors, and headed straight home.
