It was no time before the whole house was flooded. I jumped onto my bed so I won't get wet. Scaramouche jumped onto the bed as well. As he was trying to sit properly, he accidentally use his electro vision on the floor. The whole floor had electricity in it. Silly Scaramouche! He held onto my hand. I was getting electricuted, but I couldn't feel any pain... That is odd. It wasn't long before I fell into a nice long sleep
I woke up hearing Scaramouche on the phone. "Yes, Signora. I have her distracted... Mhm, I'll inject her later. Yes, yes. Okay bye," He said to Signora on the phone. "Traitor! How could he do this to me?! Inject her later???" I repeated what I just heard, whispering to myself. "Relax. I only told her that, so they'd stay away from you," he explained.
"Why do you go through so much trouble to protect me?" I asked confused. "Because... I-I... love you. You mean everything to me, Mona!" He said pouring out his emotions. "Scaramouche... I... l-love you too," I smiled. "HAH! I bet I got cha to fall for me for a second there!" He laughed. "I hate you. I hate you SO MUCH!!!" I said embarrassed. "But I really am gonna protect you," he let out a small laugh. "You are?" I raised one eyebrow. "Indeed, I am," he said fixing his hat.
"Oh! The lights are back!" I said happily "You can go now!". I pushed him out of my house. "B-but it's still flooded-" he started, but I slammed the door before he could finish. Hehe. Serves him right! I know that this is gonna be the start of a "BEAUTIFUL" friendship!
