After my classes, I removed my fake scars, I sat by the school pond to look at the fish. When all of the sudden...
"Hey, you're Mona right?" Signora asked. "N-no, that's not me. Why? Are you looking for her? She's in astrology club," I lied. "Don't try to lie to me. So... you're a fast healer, I assume?" She asked, cornering me. "I-I can explain! I just put makeup to cover my scars!" I lied again.
"Again, you lie. Don't try to fool me. Things will only get worse," She said angrily. "Just answer a few questions, WITHOUT lying, and you might just live," she threatened. "Did he, or did he not hurt you last night," she questioned. "Yes! He crushed me to pieces!" I lied. "AGAIN WITH THE LIES!" she screamed banging the bench. "I really don't know what you're talking about!" I fake cried. "Yes, you do," She insisted "DON'T try to lie to ME Mona,".
"Hey! Stay away from her!" A boy with a familiar voice, and a black hoodie, mask, and sunglasses yelled. "And what are you gonna do about it, little boy? Cry? Call your mommy?" She mocked. "I can do much worse. Don't try me. You will be very much surprised," the boy said. "As if!" Signora rolled her eyes. "Try me!" He yelled. "Alright then. This won't take to long anyway. I'll beat you up in seconds, boy," she boasted.
She was about to punch his arm, but he dodged it and ran behind her. "What? Beginner's luck, I'm certain!" She couldn't belive it. Then she tried to kick him from his legs, so he'd fall to the ground, but he jumped over her leg and she ended up falling instead. "Give up yet? This is getting boring," the boy teased. "Fine, you win this time, but next time, it won't be so easy!" She ran off.
"Thank you..." I blushed "Y-you saved me!". "My pleasure," he said with a single nod. "No, really! You saved me! I almost died back there!" I ran in to hug him. I flung my arms around the boy. "Thank you... so so so much!" I smiled, though I was almost crying in fear. He hugged me back and took of his hood, mask, and shades. "Y-you!?! Idiot!!! Stupid, ugly, IDIOT!!!" I scolded embarrassed. "Aww, what happened to 'you really saved me back there. Thank you!'? It was nice to see you being nice to me for once. It's cute!" he pouted, teasing. "Don't think I didn't notice your blushing," he laughed a bit. "I hate you," I crossed my arms.
