Love Story | Nezuko x Zenitsu fanfic

The mountain is quite quiet even though there's demons here, Tanjiro has been gone for a long time now, I hope he's okay. Thoughts circled my mind of all the ways Tanjiro and the others could die or what those demons look like, it's really tempting to go see if they're safe. Maybe if I go see but keep quiet no one would see me and if they need help I can help!

I slowly crawled out of the box, the air was so heavy but it was better than being in the box. Trees wind blew through my long thick hair, the moon was hidden by the crowns of trees. It was actually a nice night, it's unfortunate it has to get ruined by whatever is going on. If I were back at home, mother and I would be discussing how beautiful tonight is and we'd stare at the stars. Oh how I miss those days..

If I cant hear anything right now then that means Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu are far in the woods, so I guess I'm gonna have to walking around until I find at least one of them.

So that I did, I headed forward clueless of where to go and what was gonna go down. These demons can't be that bad, I mean Tanjiro is a very strong demon slayer, he's also got Inosuke and Zenitsu...well mostly Inosuke, Zenitsu is kind of a coward from what I know. I'd be surprised if Zenitsu actually makes it out alive.

I kept walking, it was silent...they couldn't be that far, could they? Who knows how big this mountain is, plus they wouldn't leave me if they went too far. As I walked I could feel my stomach turn, what if they are dead..I cant live without Tanjiro...and Inosuke is there to protect us...then there's Zenitsu, he's just somehow special, like first love but not...because I've only just met him and I'm not sure if I do like him or not, plus he's kind of crazy around me-

A quick breeze flowed behind me, like someone ran past me. I turned around, no one was there, odd? I turned back around to keep walking but just as I did someone jumped on me...it was a girl, except her skin was white...she had some sort of red dots on her face, her pupils were two dots on each eye connected by a line- was she...a demon?!?

She was breathing heavily, I tried fighting her off of me, I squirmed. She held onto my wrists, pinning me down, "what do you think you're doing here?!" The demon yelled, it was impossible to get out of her grip! Was I going to die?

A/N: Ik the demon doesn't have a name so imma just make up a name for her!!

"Kumo off!" I heard another voice, I looked around, someone came from the shadows, this time it was a boy, his skin matched the girl's and he also had red designs on his face, another demon...

The boy grabbed her off of me and threw her to the ground, "use your manners, she's a demon like us," the boy smirked. I gulped. "I'm Rui." He said, I didn't say anything in return.

Rui nodded, he walked over to Kumo, threads came out of his hands and he was...cutting her?!?! Kumo started crying, what was going on?! She was getting tortured??

Suddenly a huge gust of wind blew over me and a figure jumped in front of me, red and black checkered gakuran jacket...reddish hair- TANJIRO!! He was alive!!

Tanjiro was gripping onto his sword ran towards Rui, he was gonna kill him! Rui got out of the way quickly and Tanjiro missed him-

Rui ran towards me, "don't you dare touch my sister!" Tanjiro scowled and Rui froze,
"Sister~?" He grinned and his eyes met mine, somehow this stare hurt..

A/N: OKAY SO IK THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THE SCENE IN DEMON SLAYER I JUST WANTED TO MAKE THIS MY OWN SO- SORRY

"Yes my sister! Now leave her alone!!" Tanjiro yelled, Rui looked at him and I quickly ran behind a tree. I could tell something bad is gonna happen...Rui chuckled, he made threads again and sent them towards Tanjiro...he tried dodging them but he ran into a tree- wait!! I ran in front of the threads before they could reach Tanjiro and they cut me, my whole body hurt but I wasn't gonna let Tanjiro die on the spot...

"NEZUKO!!" Tanjiro bent down and stared at me, his eyes were watering. Rui's eyes widened as he looked at me, "you sacrificed yourself for him.." he smiled, "give me your sister, and I won't kill you." Rui said. Was he for real?!

Tanjiro looked up at Rui in disbelief, "I'm not giving you Nezuko! Even if it means I need my own life taken, no one can split us apart! Especially you!!" He screamed, that's one way to tick off a demon...

I felt my arm get gripped onto tightly, "I'm not asking..." Rui's voice sounded a bit more demonic and he pulled me up to him so I was facing Tanjiro, "I want the bond you two have, so I'll take her from you!" I tried breaking free from Rui, this cant be happening!
"No! You're not taking her!!" Tanjiro yelled, tears went down his cheeks.

Next thing I knew I was getting held up in the air by threads, I tried squirming my way out by every time I moved the threads just got tighter, they were cutting through my skin- what do I do?!

"No one tells me no~" Rui said as his voice was shaky, I saw threads fly at Tanjiro but he dodged him. I was getting furious, my blood leaked out of my body, anger was rising in me. I WONT ALLOW RUI TO TAKE ME FROM TANJIRO!! I started pulling myself free and blood just kept coming out, my blood burned the threads and I was soon freed.

I fell onto the ground and ran towards Rui, he looked at me quickly and smiled, I don't think he knew what I was gonna do. As soon as I got to him I kicked him- well I tried...he sent a thread to my leg and it got cut deeply, but not too deep for it to fall off.

I screeched in pain and fell down, "Nezuko!!" Tanjiro tan to me, I was fine..I wish I could tell him. I got up quickly.

Tenjiro ducked, pulling me down as a thread flew towards us...

"I'll be fine here Nezuko..go find somewhere safe!! I'll find you after this- just please go!" Tanjiro said signalling me to go. I didn't want to, I hugged him tightly, "I don't want you getting hurt- please!" He pushed me off of him, I stood up.

Was he joking? Where was I supposed to go?! Tanjiro nodded his head towards some trees...I guess that way. So that's where I went.

I've been walking in the trees for a while now, was Tanjiro alright? Something felt odd as I walked in the direction I was going...like I was sensing danger-

A yell came through the direction I was going, I quickly ran towards it.

A huge spider with a human- well not quite human head. It was holding a person..the person had a demon slayer outfit, orange and yellow hair- I got a glimpse of the person's face...it was Zenitsu-

A/N: I know this is a Zenitsu x Nezuko fanfic and this chapter had nothing to do with Zenitsu but I promise next chapter will have him in it lots!!
