Love Story | Nezuko x Zenitsu fanfic

Mine and Zenitsu's eyes met, he was scared, and his face showed it. The human headed spider growled as it looked at me, I shivered. "Nezuko-chan!! Get help-!" Zenitsu yelled, I could tell the grip was getting stronger, why wasn't the human headed spider instantly killing him?

Maybe it wanted to kill him when I left to get help, well I know what I need to do.

I nodded and ran behind a tree, I'm pretty sure they both though I left. There was another scream, it was from Zenitsu, he was getting...hurt. That can't happen.

The screaming got more intense, I bolted out from behind the tree and sprung myself up and kicked the human headed spider, barely anything happened but it was progress.

Zenitsu looked as if he was gonna pass out, his face was white, his eyes hollow...but his chest was still slightly moving from breathes. I jumped once again and kicked the spider again, it moved its arm swiftly then threw Zenitsu against a tree. I looked back, Zenitsu was laying there motionlessly.

My head rotated back to the spider but it grabbed me before I could do anything. I wasn't off the ground...I was still on the ground. Suddenly I felt as if spiders were crawling up my body, each little leg and the tiny hairs on them. I looked down- SPIDERS WITH BABY HEADS?!

I groaned and moved my legs like I've never done before, clenching my shoulders back, making my arms push their way out. All I managed to do was break free from the spider, it's arm broke but quickly regenerated. Great.

The spider sprung threads out from its body, I went to dodge but nothing came towards me. Where were they going? I looked around, ZENITSU!!! The threads zipped their way to Zenitsu, my legs have never ran as fast as I was now...

~FLASHBACK~

Nezuko...protect all humans as they are all your family....all humans are your family...all humans are your family...all humans are your family....

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I must protect ALL humans...especially this one. I'm so close...just a few more steps-

There it was. The feeling of stinging? There was a warmth trail going down mostly all over my body, my vision got blurry, ringing in my ears. I could feel myself falling. This can't be happening...I NEED to save Zenitsu. I forced my eyes to stay open and shifted to face Zenitsu, before I could even see if he was alive, I started getting dragged.

I clawed the ground, but that couldn't even stop me. All of the sudden I was flung in the air.

"NEZUKOOOOO!!!!!!!" A voice cried out, Tanjiro?

As I was falling down from mid air, the bamboo on my face made its way down my neck.

I hit the ground hard. Everything went blank.

~ZENITSU'S POV~

My eyes flickered open, my head hurt like hell. I noticed a familiar face in front of me, the beautiful demon girl I'm currently falling in love with. Nezuko-chan. She was covered in blood and her eyes were closed.

Please tell me she isn't dead.

I looked above her, seeing Tanjiro and Inosuke demolishing the human headed spider.

I dragged my arm up and around Nezuko, I shall keep her safe. The bamboo that was on her face is now around her neck. I moved it back on her face.

Nesuko's breathing was slow, her skin was ice cold, her face was white, "I'm so sorry Nezuko-chan..." I muttered, feeling tears fall down my cheeks. I held onto her tightly, I won't let her go, I won't let her get hurt anymore, I won't leave her side-

Next thing I knew Tanjiro ripped Nezuko out of my grip and carried her away from me. Inosuke grabbed my arm and dragged me up, "let's go Wendy" he muttered,
"Wendy?"
"Benmitsu I meant-"
"Benmitsu???-"
"JUST SHUT UP BLONDIE YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!"
Man, someone's mad.

A/N: I know this was a short chapter and I know I took a LONG break from this fanfic but I'm back and I'll try and finish it soon lol. Anyways if you have any ideas/predictions for the next chapter please comment :)
