"Y/n! Y/n!" you hear hurried, tiny footsteps coming your way.
"Klee!" it's your day to babysit Klee, Albedo's almost sister.
She hugs you tightly, covering as much as your body as she can with her tiny arms.
You both giggle as Klee sinks her head in your stomach.
"Seems you two are ready to go" Albedo looks pleased.
"Oh...! Hi Albedo" you try to hide your nervousness and fail miserably, your cheeks blushing ever so slightly.
"I'm glad you can take care of her today. Today's quite the busy one" he nonchalantly checks his notebook full of activities, then looks at you smiley.
You lock eyes for a few seconds, and Klee seems to notice.
"Hmm..."
"What is it, Klee?" Albedo crouches to look her in the face.
"Are Y/n and brother Albedo dating?" she looks up innocently.
"Oh?"
"What!? Klee, no, no, no, you got it all wrong!" you start shifting your gaze back and forth between the child and your (very obvious) crush, almost maniacally.
"You're going to do a-adult stuff... like... leaving Klee alone so you can be together!" she pouts.
The comical scene is interrupted by Albedo's laughter.
"No one's going to leave you alone, Klee. Me and Y/n will always find time for you, right?" he subconsciously nods, and you follow along.
"Hmph, alright! If it's Y/n then I guess it's fine... we're a family now!" she smiles, and runs off before you can correct her.
"Klee... phew... what a lost case..." you giggle.
Albedo looks at his watch-"it's time for me to leave. Now if you excuse me" he turns away.
"Yes..." you begin walking away.
"Oh! And Y/n?"
"Yes!"
Albedo turns to you once again-"she's right. We are kind of a family. So be a good parent and we'll start from there, okay?" he gives you a smug smile.
You can't help but blush, answering excitedly-"yes sir!"
You follow the tiny, borderline arsonist through the field; the air smells floral, like new beginnings.
