Tadashi looked out the window, he was waiting. He knew if he let himself enjoy this moment it would pass too quickly. It's not like he was scared of Tsukki. He just really wanted them to stop fighting all the time Neither of them are strong enough to break it off. The two of them just don't work like they used to. He knows he's a pushover; and so does Tsukki.

He straightened up when he heard the door click open.

"Tadashi, I'm home."

"Tsukki!" Tadashi stood up quickly and helped Tsukishima with his coat.

"Hey, not too loud" Tsukishima said with a variegated tone.

"My bad Tsukki."

"Thank you, I'm making ramen for dinner but I need you to run to get some drinks." Tadashi nodded and grabbed the keys from the bowl.

"Okay but why couldn't you pick them up on your way here?"  He asked

"Because Tadashi! I was in a cab and couldn't stop because you decided to keep the damn car today!" Tsukishima spat.

"I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have asked."

"Whatever." After Tadashi heard that eh walked out the door and rushed out the car.

He went into the car and slammed the door shut. He tried putting the key in but he kept missing. He threw the keys on the seat next to him. He leaned his forehead  on steering wheel and let out a whimper. Tadashi started to take deep breaths and grip the wheel with his hands.

"One..two..three..f-four..five..six..seven, eight, nine...ten."

Tadashi took one last deep breath and reached for the key. He started driving around the corner and stopped at a vending machine near a park. He knew he shouldn't have asked, it was a stupid move on his part And when he parked in the driveway he grabbed the sodas. Tadashi walked in the doorway and replaced his shoes for slippers. He walked to the kitchen and placed the drinks on the counter. He saw that Tsukki had seen him but didn't acknowledge him.

"Tsukki I brought sodas." Tadashi looked to see if Tsukishima had headphones in. "Tsukki whats wrong?"

"Why didn't you do the damn dishes?" Tadashi was taken aback.

"W-what do you mean?"

"You get out of work early and you couldn't do the dishes?" Tsukishima shouted and Tadashi took a step toward him.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know that's what you wanted me to to do you  because you didn't tell me anything!"

"Oh my god what are you good for Tadashi?! Huh? Cause right now you aren't someone I'd wanna know!"

"Stop! Okay!? I'm still here for you even after you've been so horrible!"

"Shut up! I don't even know why you're still here! You really need to take off the rose colored glasses and realize we're both suffering Yams!"

"I'm not gonna give up on us! I'm not gonna give up on you!"

Tsukishima knew Tadashi wasn't gonna leave him. He hates change. But Tsukishima diddn't wanna leave. Even after all the fights, restless nights alone in the bed or on the couch, he loved Tadashi. He knew that this relationship wasn't healthy for either of them.

Tsukishima glared but Tadashi stood his ground. Tsukishima stared to quickly serve himself and took a soda.

"I'm eating in the room, then I'm going to bed. You can have the bed tonight." He said with a harsh tone. Tsukishima left to their room leaving Tadashi alone. Once he heard the door slam he broke down.

Tadashi knelt down and hugged his knees. It wasn't the first time he's done this very same thing. He knew this wasn't a good relationship. Although Tsukishima never got physical (and Tadashi knew he would never get physical) it was still abuse. Neither was going to back out of this game of chicken. When Yamaguchi stopped crying he served himself. He took his soda and sat in the room that he shared with Tsukki. They both were silent. With only the sound of them eating filled the room. Then Tsukishima spoke.

"I thought you were going to eat in the dining room."

"I wanted to eat with you, is that a problem?"

"No, I didn't say it was." Tadashi didn't comment on Tsukishima's words.

Tsukishima was the first to finish and he sat there looking at his hands. When Tadashi was done he sat next to Tsukki. After five minutes of the two sitting together on the bed, Tsukishima got up and grabbed his pillow. He started to walk away but then Tadashi grabbed his hand.

"Yams what are you-"

"Don't go."

"Wha-"

"Sleep here, with me." Tsukishima glanced at him.

"Are you sure?" Tadashi nodded and Tsukishima sighed. He laid down witch him and turned off the lamp.

Tadashi clung to Tsukishima and buried his face in his shoulder. They both knew that this day would be repeated in a month. They both knew full well that this was toxic. Both of them needed to leave. They both knew that if they let themselves enjoy this moment, that it would pass too quickly. So they laid there, staring at nothing and thinking about nothing. To prevent time from traveling too quickly.
