IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

hi lovelies. i know it's been a wicked long time since i updated and i'm not as active as i used to be. you may have noticed that. the reason for that is that, first of all, i've been busy trying to finish off the school year with good grades. second of all, i've been working on other books/fanfics. and third of all, it's because i no longer have any motivation to write this.

i started writing pretty when i was in middle school, around thirteen years old. i'm sixteen now. and at thirteen, i had loose plans for where this book was going. but they were not at all organized, and i left tons of plot holes for future me to clean up. at sixteen years old, my writing has grown tremendously and changed. it's changed enough that my current writing style no longer matches the writing style of this book and every time i write a new chapter, i have to write in a way that isn't natural to me. i don't know how to get from this point of the book to the end because my plans are so hard to decipher and there are so many plot holes i never bothered to fill in. writing pretty was fun at first, but now it feels like a chore, and though i love all of you very much and that could never, ever change, i'm afraid that i have to discontinue it.

it was a difficult decision to come to, but one i was forced to make because i know that if i keep writing something i'm not interested in anymore, it will never turn out in a way i could be proud of. i'm not leaving wattpad, and i have tons and tons of story ideas and fanfics i'll be writing soon. but, unfortunately, pretty ends here.

i'm eternally grateful to this book for helping me grow and eternally grateful to you guys, who have always supported me and been so kind to me and allowed me to get to know you. i really, truly hope you stick with me beyond pretty. i love you all so so so much and i'd like to see more of you guys in the future. if you liked this book, please follow and look out for my future works. and if you guys have any questions about this book, like jungkook's and yoongi's pasts, what would have happened had i continued it, or anything else about the plot, i'd be happy to answer them!!

i love you so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much and thank you tremendously for reading and for standing by me for so long. i look forward to talking to you all in the future. i want you all to know how genuinely i adore you and wish for your safety, comfort, and well being, and how proud of you i am for surviving this year and all the years before. please, take care of yourselves, be kind to yourselves, and treat yourselves, because you're special and you're worth it.
