"Min Yoongi...?" Tae mumbled, his deep, sultry words spilling into the cold, January air with a questioning lilt, his long fingers folding around the thick, colorful fabric of his scarf and winding it tighter around his cinnamon painted throat. Jimin struggled to keep up with his long strides, stumbling behind him with his sky blue suitcase rolling at his heels, his hand tugging on the cool metal.

They were on their way to the train station, as it was about 8 in the morning, and Jimin had to be there by 9.

It was a thirty minute train ride, and after he and Hobi had quickly helped him pack up all of his stuff, Taehyung had insisted on escorting him, to see him off, and was inquiring a bit too throughly about the boy that Jimin would be spending much of his time with. He'd peered over his shoulder with curious almond eyes when he'd reviewed his files, claiming suddenly and abruptly that he was quite good looking, and scaring Jimin half to death. He continued to memorize every piece of information that he could get his hands on, despite Jimin's high pitched pleads to be left alone, and wouldn't stop saying his name in all manners of tones and lengths, drawling it out, and chirping it happily, grunting it with furrowed eyebrows, and singing it out in falsetto.

Jimin's cheeks were burning a cherry red, but he had been Tae's best friend for long enough that this kind of behavior shouldn't have fazed him so much.

But with Tae, nothing was predictable.

Occasionally, strangers passing by them at the station would shoot him annoyed glares, or amused looks, but Taehyung paid them no mind, his gaze shifting around in search of Jimin's platform seeing as he was much taller, while he continued to belt out nonsensical ramblings that he didn't know how to answer.

"Min Yoongi. Min Yoongi! Miiiiooooion Yiooioongi, Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi...Yoongi hyung!" He exclaimed in a painfully bubbly voice, and Jimin winced, shaking his sunshine colored head at the syrupy sweet tone.

"What was that?" He questioned, his adorable little nose wrinkling, and Tae shot him his familiar boxy grin, ruffling his blonde dyed strands, scented with his lemon shampoo.

"It's you!" He cried out as though it should be obvious, and Jimin clutched his chest in mock offense, shoving Tae with his shoulder.

"That is not how I-"

"Yes it is," Tae cut him off, much to his annoyance. "But don't worry. It's cute."

Jimin huffed, rolling his eyes, but a slight smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

He could never be irritated with Tae for long.

Contrary to his height and his deep voice, Kim Taehyung was quite an adorable creature. Exceedingly strange, but irresistibly endearing. Everyone could admit that, and his ability to be both mature and comforting, as well as silly and playful only made his character more interesting.

And in best friend terms, he was Jimin's soulmate.

"Oh," Tae whined, wrapping his long arm around Jimin's shoulder as he led him towards his platform, which he had caught sight of while peering over the passing heads, his eyes lighting up and saddening simultaneously. "I'm going to miss you so much."

Jimin giggled softly, gripping onto the hem of Tae's coat. "Tae, I'm not leaving forever. He only lives thirty minutes away. I'll visit all the time and you guys can visit too...if Yoongi is okay with it."

Tae huffed, frowning as they came to a stop in front of the train tracks, waiting along with everyone else anticipating their ride.

"You'll still be so far away though..." He bit his bottom lip between his teeth and spun Jimin around, meeting his eyes with a strange solemness. "You have to call me every night."

Jimin's eyebrows pinched, his tiny hand grasping Tae's arm in alarm. "Every night! But Tae-"

"No buts," He interrupted, wagging his nimble finger back in forth in front of his nose. "Every night. No...Skype call me, I want to see your beautiful face. You can't expect me to survive twelve hours without your smile, that would be impossible."

"You're impossible." Jimin retorted, laughing into Tae's chest.

He simply continued as though he hadn't spoken.

"And maybe we can meet this Yoongi kid-"

"He's older than you."

"And make sure that he's a suitable person for our precious Jiminie to be around. We need to make sure he deserves the blessing of your time and money."

"You're a dummy."

Tae shot him his familiar boxy smile, genuine emotion surfacing on his features at the regularly muttered phrase. "And you're my best friend. What does that say about you?"

Jimin smiled, his mocha eyes crinkling, and let out a pained cry so abrupt that several people around them jumped in surprise. He slung his arms around Tae's slender waist and hugged him tight, laughing as the younger boy fake sobbed into his shoulder.

"Jimin...please don't leave me..."

Jimin sniffled, wiping away his nonexistent tears.

"I'm sorry my love, but this is not the end...my heart yearns for you every moment we are apart...just try to continue without me until..." He whimpered in agony. "Until we meet again..."

"I wish I could keep the warmth of your embrace forever..." Tae whined, grasping onto the fabric of his clothes. "What will I do...oh god Jimin what will I do without you...I need you..."

"I know exactly how you feel," Jimin gasped, clutching his heart as his train screeched to a stop in the station, the doors beginning to open in invitation. "But I could never leave you my sweet Kim Taehyung...I will come back for you...please...don't forget me..."

Tae's eyes rounded into pleading, doe like circles, and in his most heart breaking, dramatic voice, he whispered. "I could never forget you."

And they held each other until the last moment, laughing and laughing and laughing, until Jimin was forced to break away from him, disappearing onto the train and waving at him through the window until he was out of sight.
