Jake's POv

I leaned into Rose. Suddenly I was being choked. My instincts told me to phase. That Emmet or Rose were attacking me. Then I heard and smelt Ness very close and I held it i i yelled mentally for Edward to get her off of me so i don't hurt her. "Wait you're worrying about her while she almost killed you?" asked Edward. She was mumbling and crying. I could hear, "So- so- sorry Jake!" the most. I never should have played this stupid game anyways. Maybe we should have done what Emmet suggested. I could stand that. I just sat in the couch with my head in my hands. I was waiting for her to get better. A couple of hours later she came and sat next to me. I layed her head in my lap. She looked up into my eyes. My vision blurred being replaced  with an image of words that read," I'm sorry. Do you still love me. If you wan't to break up our engament I'll understand." "Of course I love you. To tell you the truth I would have done the same except to the thing kissing you,"  i replied.  She perked up at that Then she looked at the time. Acting more like herself she said, "Let's go to bed baby." She ran upstairs. I had no chance but to follow her. We were in her ed. She changed to her tank top and shorts. Then she walked to the thermometer and turned it to 0 degrees. I walked to her bed and layed down She came in and wrapped my arms around her. Her legs wrapped around mine in a nice way. Her head against my chest we fell asleep.
