No! She, she would never abandon her family like that. As I searched her mind. I had no doubt in my mind that she wasn't coming back. She was really and truly going to the Volturi and I couldn't stop her. There was only one thing to do. Tell the rest of the family.

"She WHAT!" Esme shouted. The couch was suddenly snapped in half. I had never seen esme so upset. Bella was sitting on the table and was silently crying. Then Rose exploded on me.

"WHY! WHY DID YOU LET YOUR ONLY AND LAST DAUGHTER GO TO THE VOLTURI! WHY. HOW COULD YOU LET HER JUST LEAVE." Rose screamed at me. She then went over to comfort Bella. Why couldn't I even go over there, much less hug her. What was happening to me. I wasn't even worried about my own daughter. She was gone and I couldn't do anything about it. I respected her choice. I was willing to let my little girl go. NO! NO! I WASN'T. I had a blank stare on my face as I walked out that door. Walked out that door and right into Ness and Jake.

"Your back!" I screamed. ?Yah Yah, I know unmanly but..

"Dad we're getting married," Ness said.
