#17: I Don't Know

You told me that you loved me,

And you swore you'd never leave me,

Well, I think that's kinda crazy, cause

It was so easy for you to walk out that door.

Well, I... begged you to stay cause I need you

But you walked away.

I cried and I cried and I cried, day after day.

Cause I told you that I loved you,

But it wasn't enough.

I loved you, and I loved you, and I loved you

Till I couldn't no more.

Well, I don't even what we're fighting for.

I got lost in the oblivion, fighting my way home to you.

While you sat back, and you didn't give a shit.

Maybe it would be easier just to let you go.

You're colder than snow in the wintertime,

But I smile brighter than the sun during summertime.

You're the kinda boy who tears everyone around you down

While I'm over here trying to build them up.

I smile and I laugh, while you scowl and mope.

I can keep a secret, but you just run your mouth.

Now, I don't know what we've been fighting for.
