We walked together, hand in hand
For what felt like the start of forever
Our life together would be grand
But you ran away to wherever
You left me crying and dying
And wondering what I did wrong
Meanwhile, you were flying
And finding where you truly belong
As long as you are happy, my dear
Reluctantly, I will agree to let you go
Now I have nothing to fear
For you stole my heart just for show
