Chapter 2

"It's your aunt Brinda." my mom says. what happen to her, is she okay!! I say worried. "She tried to kill herself and we don't know if she will make it or not, she took pills and she passed out and she hasn't waken yet" she says starting to tear up. so we are going to see her right? I say worried still. "of corse!" She says. what abo.. I get interrupted by my mom "can we please just stay quiet until we get there please!!!!!" She says very frustrated. We get to the hospital and rush into the room she is in, all my family is there. my aunt Brindas daughter Brook is standing outside the door, when I walk in I hug Brinda asleep and say hi to everyone and hug my grandma and ask if Brook knows, she said no and don't tell her so I nod and go outside to keep Brook company. " Do you know what's going on and why I can't go in? She ask. I answer with nothing just your mom has the flu and she is contagious and they don't want you to get it but she will be okay. I feel bad because she is only 8 and Brooks dad Darrel and Brinda are divorced, and that Darrel drooped her off at the hospital and left. I say in my head. I'll be right back I need to tell my mom something I say to Brook. okay she responds. I walk in and told my grandma that Brook asked about her mom and I told her she has the flu and she said okay. I told my mom I was hungry and she said there is Mc.Donalds down stairs so she told me to take Brook and she gave me 50 dollars and told me to give Brook the change. in my head I was like what the heck? Why? Really? But it's whatever. I took Brook to Mc.Donalds and I got a plane chicken sandwich with a small fry and she just got a kid meal thing. when we got our food I asked if she wanted to eat there or upstairs and she said here so she could play at that kid place thing. u told her to eat some then she could go play so she ate and I was still eating so I told her to go play and when I'm finished we are leaving so she ran in the play place. after 10 minuets I told her lets go and we went back to the room. it was late already and Brook said she is sleepy so I called my mom and told her and she said Brook will be living with us until her mom is okay and safe to be with, so I told Brook that she is spending the night at my house for a while because we miss her so much and she got happy. we left at like 12:45 and Brook feel asleep in the car so I carried her inside and put her on my bed. I put my phone on the charger and laid down next to Brook an fell asleep.
