Nelly: It was Ojuju Calabar, I saw it.

Ojuju Calabar is a Nigerian superstition told to children to stop them from disobeying and displaying bad behaviours.

Sammy: What? Ojuju Calabar is a superstition mother told to stop us from playing at night.

Nelly: It was there. It was colour black, it was small...

The little girl struggled as she tried to make sense of what she was saying but it seemed no one understood or believed her.

Sammy: You're not making any sense, Nelly.

Seun: The girl said she saw the Ojuju stuff, so why can't you believe her? She might be right, you know?

Seun lay down as he threw chips into his mouth. He used to believe that the superstitions were real and claimed he once saw one.

Bimpe: You've always been one to believe in superstitions. Sometimes you just have to be real.

Bimpe lay on her bed and facing the ceiling.

Seun: Anything is possible, even us becoming rich people in future.

Bimpe: Why would you say that? It's impossible. What's your proof?

Bolu: Nothing's impossible, because even impossible is possible.

The young Albert Einstein who had just arrived from spying the nuns.

Bolu: I heard something impossible, unexplainable...I don't understand what I heard.

Favour: Do you mind sharing with us?

Bolu: didn't i just say it was unexplainable?
The whole gang just kept staring at him.

Bolu: Fine, the nuns were talk about a box.

Sammy: And what's so special about this box?

Bolu: I heard them say something like it had a message in it, or something. It's all so confusing.

Everyone in the room looked at each other, trying to understand what he said.

Bolu: They said they shouldn't have opened it, because opening it is going to cause a lot of trouble.

Bimpe: So you're telling us that a message in a strange box caused us to witness the impossible, which I still find hard to believe?

Bolu nodded yes.

Seun: This doesn't make any sense, I think I need one more midnight snack, I'm thinking pure bliss.

Seun said, as he left for the snacks room.

Bolu: Death and sorrow is going to befall us all very soon, whatever killed the gardener came from the box. I've been planning my escape for two years now, so anyone who wants to live should come with me.

Bolu began to pack his bag.

Sammy:No, we can't just leave, this is our home. When no one was willing to take us in, the orphanage did.
