As I shake slightly putting the rope around my neck,
Seeing all the past memories that were too painful,
Trying to talk myself out of it but it was to late,
Screams all around,
The terror in the eyes of the people I love too much,
The regret and horror that they'll never see me again then haunted me,
I stopped in my tracks and remembered,
Remembered the good times I will cherish forever,
The happiness of finding my own destiny awakened me,
In the realization of what I've tried to accomplish.
Slowly undoing the rope that would've taken my life off,
And the slow stumble to the ground to find the people I love holding me for dear life,
The whispers of why crowed out of them,
Why, 'I wanted my life to be easier.'
Life is precious even though there is pain,
There is still the peak of happiness everyone will feel in their lifetime,
So don't make that happiness be waisted to turn into despair.
