The Secret Crush- Steve Rogers/Captain America X Reader (Y/N)

Steve In Hospital

You walk into the room and sit beside Steves bed you grab Steve's hand and start to worry if his going to wake up anytime soon. You start to talk to Steve even though he can't hear or talk to you

"Hey Steve it's Y/N, who did this to you? Why did they do this to you" you look down at the ground "i know you can't hear me but i like talking to you i like being around you, i am so sorry i spoke about your first kiss ever since peggy it was none of my business"

You let go of Steves hand and make yourself comfortable on the chair when suddenly Nat walks in

"Hey Y/N we are going to head back to the tower to get some food are you going to come with us?"

"I wanna stay here in case he wakes up so there is someone with him"

"His not going to wake up for a while
Y/N"

"I don't care i want to stay here you can go i will be ok"

The others leave to get some food you are the only one in the room with Steve you make yourself comfortable and have a little sleep on the chair.

4 hours later

Nat comes back into the room, you are still asleep because you hardly got any sleep last night

"Y/N wake up we got you some food,
Y/N"

"What"

"We got you some food"

You sat up and started eating

"How is he?" Nat asked

"Same way he was when you left"

"Well the rest of us are outside if you need anything or want to come talk to us"

Nat leaves you to eat your food and she knew you weren't in a good mood.

2 weeks later Steve is still in hospital and still hasn't woken up and your still sitting by his beside and haven't moved once

Outside Steve's hospital room:

"Whats wrong with Y/N shes been in that room the whole time hasn't moved once and has hardly eaten the whole time being here" Tony said

"I didn't think they liked each other" Thor added

"They didn't but they worked themselves out before the mission and agreed to be friends" Nat said

"Steve has always liked Y/N a little bit anyway, if you guys haven't seen the way he looks at her your all blind" Wanda added

"Looks like Y/N likes him too the way she has been since he has been in the hospital" Clint said

Back in Steve's hospital room:

"Please Steve you have to wake up now its been 2 weeks you have to wake up please i can't do this without you" you start to cry "I know we hated each other 2 months ago but these last months being friends with you has brought me to realise i like your company, i- i like you Steve"

You grab Steve's hand and start to cry even more getting the feeling that Steve is gone forever and you wasted half your time hating eachother, when suddenly you felt him hold your hand tighter and his head slowly turn towards you

"Y/N"

You look at Steve with tears in your eyes and a big smile on your face he opens his arms for you to give him a hug, you stand up and go closer to Steve instead of hugging Steve you smash your lips onto his Steve kisses back straight away putting his hands on your hips you pull away and smile

"Don't you ever do that to me again i thought you were dead"

"Aww you would miss me wouldn't you" he said trying to laugh but it hurt him because he had bruised ribs "Y/N you kissed me"

"Yeah i did, you kissed me back"

"It would have been awkward if i didn't kiss you back"

"Haha very funny, stealing my sentences now" you smile

You kiss Steve again this time it is more passionate and deep Steve puts his hands on your hips and again Steve breaks the kiss and signals you to lie next to him on the bed

"No Steve i don't want to hurt you even more then you are"

"Come on Y/N you need sleep you look like you haven't slept in weeks and your eyes are red from i suppose crying your not going to hurt me come on hop up"

You get on the bed very delicately trying not to hurt Steve and lie down next to him Steve pulls you closer to his body you love the way Steve's hands are around and and you hold Steve's hand that is around you, the both of you fall asleep instantly.
