~Alex's point of view~

I haven't seen Alice in the flesh for years. I have however had visions of her. Yes I know what your thinking. I thought see read minds. Well I do. Hmm... How to describe my situation. Let's see the best way to describe my gift would be as my ex- voltori friend told me I touch and receive.

[flash back]

I was running in the woods in Alaska when I hear a vampires thoughts from behind me. I turned around fast and had him against a tree with my hand on his neck. When I saw his eyes a liquid amber I let him go blocking his thoughts to give him privacy. I hated hearing everyones thoughts all the time. He brought me back to his coven. He called them his family. You could tell they were closely bonded. I learned his name was Ezalaber and that he used to be a part of the voltouri guard before he left them because of their diet. He explained my gift saying just by being fifty feet from a vampire with a gift I would receive that gift also. So while staying with my Denli friends I picked up Ezalaber's gift of knowing others gifts and Kate's power to basically render someone helpless for a moment. I described it as using a taser on a human.

I stayed with them for a while. A period of three years the longest I ever stayed anywhere. I miss them but I'll visit some day. I was now in forks washington just out of hearing range incase they have a mind reader. I started translating a history book on the civil war in German. I walked up to the front door and knocked. A big, no huge, guy comes out. " Alice" he asked confused. " no Alex nice to meet you Emmett now if you will exuse me" I said side stepping him and walking inside to see a living room filled with confused vampires. Lets see theirs a mental sheild, a mind reader, a empath. Lets see. I walked over to a tall blond man with scars all over. " Jasper nice meet you in the flesh" I said. I could feel ever ones curiosity and shock. " how do you know me and why do you look like my wife?" he asked. "Shoot I knew I should have come earlier I misses Alice's wedding." I said disappointed. Everyone was looking at me strange. I was hit with an image of Alice coming home in three...two..one. " Esme you'll never guess what I got you!!" yelled Alice. Same old Alice I thought to myself. The red-haired one must be the mindreader because he was confused by my thoughts. Just then Alice walks in. Everyone seems to be asking silent questions with their eyes. She doesnt seem to notice me. " same old Alice. Did you go shopping again?" I ask. She literally drops all her bags as she she's me I stand up and open my arms. "ALEX!!" she yells before giving me a bone crushing hug. Everyones looking at Alice and I shocked and confused. " everyone meet my twin sister Alexandria Marie Brandon. " everyones now looking between Alice and me so I decide to show them. It's one of my gifts. I hear everyone gasp as they see what I have sense being dropped off at the asylum with Alice. Man. They don't seem to be taking it good.
