Chapter 1

It  was the first day of school my mom was screaming for us to get up. I screamed I'm up! she said we'll get your brother and sister up me and my brother we're twins we were 16 and then we had a older  sister who was 18 we had moved from Hawaii 2 years ago to Ireland for our dads job it was mine and Kalani's sophomore year and Talia's senior year I went and knocked on there doors they both screamed go away Natia I said mom said to get up and went and jumped in the shower I came out in my towel to get to my room my brother groaned and said your gonna make me lose my breakfast put some cloths on I rolled my eyes and slammed the door we were a lot closer when we were kids but the older we got the more independent we became but I also got closer to my sister the older we got she tapped on my door and said so what are we wearing today I said I don't know she said here black skinny jeans spaghetti strap white tank with a red and black plaid shirt over and black converse I smiled and said thanks I was exited I was gonna see my boyfriend for the first time in 2 weeks Talia called out if your riding with me I'm leaving in 5 minutes I said I'm walking Kalani yelled I'm skateboarding I grabbed my bag and headed out the door one of my good friends Emma was waiting for me on my porch she said so are you exited I said yes I can't wait when we got to school I went straight to his locker and there he stood my blonde haired blue eyed Irish boy Niall! I came up behind and placed my hands over his eyes and said guess who he said my queen and turned around and smiled he brought me in to a tight hug and kissed me we had been dating a year I met him through my brothers best friend Zayn they were in a band together my brother didn't like me dating him he said he was gonna break my heart but I think he was being over protective and just didn't want me dating someone he knew Niall said can I walk you too class I said I actually have to go to the office there's a new student and I'm showing him around he gave me a frown and said do you have too I said yes it's part of the welcoming committee and I'm on it because it looks good on my college applications he said we're only sophomores we have time for that I rolled my eyes and pecked his lips and said I'll see you after first period. I headed to the office and mrs Jones said he's right over there honey I headed over and said hey I'm Natia I'm gonna show you around and held my hand out he whispered where I could barley hear him I'm James he didn't look up from the floor or shake my hand I said ok well let's get started I gave him a tour of the school I then Took him out to the football field and showed him the track and all. He then said so do you guys have a good football team I looked back and I noticed how beautiful his eyes were they were so blue I said um to be honest I just moved here 2years ago and I haven't really paid attention but a couple of my brothers friends and my boyfriend all play so maybe I can introduce you to them and they can tell you about it he said where are you from I smiled and said Hawaii he said that explains why your so pretty and smiled I said thank you and blushed he said I'm sorry I didn't mean to embarrass you I said no it's fine I'm just not use to guys paying me attention usually they are all about my sister she's a senior this year I'm kinda the geek of the family my twin brother is the cool one my sister is the pretty one and I'm the smart sweet one he said I'm the fuck up of my family I didn't know what to say so I just looked at the ground. He said I'm sorry I made things awkward I said no it's fine let me show you where your first period is let me see your schedule I looked and said oh you have Theater I'm in that class too we headed to class I took my seat next to Emma she said who's that I said he's new his name is James she said he's cute in his own way I said he's different in a good way though. After class Niall was waiting at  my locker he said are you ready for 2nd period I said yeah we had all managed to get in the same class all 5 boys my brother ,me and Emma we headed to choir when we walked in I noticed James was in there he smiled I waved at him Niall said who's that I said James he's new I waved him over ,he walked over I said hey this is Niall,Harry,Liam,Louis,Zayn,Emma and my brother Kalani and everyone this is James he just moved here they all shook hands I said do you wanna sit with us he shrugged and said sure while the others were joking around I talked to James he had moved from  Middlesbrough England with his dad he had anxiety and was really shy he was easy to talk to though Emma said my name I turned mrs Miller came in she said I have some good news Niall,Harry,Liam,Louis, and Zayn will all be auditioning for the X Factor let's  give them around of applause I looked at him he shrugged I grabbed my bag and asked if I could go to the nurse he lied to me and I hate that I headed towards the football field I heard my name and turned it was James he said can I keep you some company you looked upset when you left. I said I'd like that I'm just headed to my secret spot only me Niall and Emma know about it. He said now I know and smiled we walked down the tiny path down beside the field shed for about 5 minutes and then exited to this beautiful lake that had a waterfall I heard James gasp I turned back he was looking around I said it's beautiful right he said yeah thanks for letting me tag along.we sat and talked for hours I basically missed the rest of the day we talked about our childhoods about our favorite things and what we wanted to do when we were older. We had so much in common he didn't know it but this day he became my best friend. I looked down at my watch and said I gotta get to my last period class he said come on I'll walk you I smiled and said thank you he said for what I said for making me feel better he said I'm glad I could help. He walked me to my advanced English class and said you should come over sometime so I can play you some songs I looked down at the floor And smiled and glanced up at him and said I'd love too he said ok let's plan it. I walked into class Niall waved me over he had a chair beside him open but I wasn't over him lying so I sat next to Zayn on the other side of class he smiled and said what's up with you two are y'all broke up i said um no I just need some space I looked over Niall had a look on his face like he was confused I shrugged and got my book for class out. I headed out of class 5 minutes early and went and waited at James's last class when the bell rang I said you wanna go get a coffee there's a coffee shop around the corner he said sure let's go we headed over I got a text from Niall saying if your mad at me just say so don't avoid me all day I texted back if I wasn't mad I wouldn't be avoiding you you lied to me I asked if you were doing that and you flat out said no and then I hear when the whole class does that you were he said it was a last minute thing I didn't think I was I said me and James is at the coffee shop if you wanna come he said James??? The new guy why are you with him because he's my friend he said I'll pass I'm going out tonight with your brother and the guys I didn't reply I said so what do you like more writing or singing he said both I said so when do I get to hear you sing he said my parents are out tonight you wanna come over we can watch a movie and I can play you some that's if you don't have plans with Niall I said no he's made other plans so I'd like that let me go home and check in and I have a couple things to take care of and you can text me your address and I'll come over he says that sounds great and smiled I said had anyone ever told you you have a great smile he said no I usually don't smile a lot but you have a way with me. Around 5 I headed to his house I knocked and he answered pretty fast he said I wasn't sure you'd show I smiled I said I was coming he said come on in we can go in my room he lead me to the back of the house where his room was he said it's not much but it's home I said it's nice he said let me play you some songs he grabbed his guitar and started strumming he said this is a song I wrote probably about a year ago he said it's called recovery. I sat there and listen to him sing his voice was amazing and I started to really listen to the lyrics it brought tears to my eyes whatever he'd gone through it was dark and you could tell he still carried it with him when he finished he looked up at me I wiped my tears and smiled I said that was beautiful he blushed and said thank you I said will you play me one more he said of course this one's called say you won't let go. This one was beautiful too when he finished I asked did you write that for your girlfriend he said I did but she broke my heart we're not together anymore I half smiled and said I was sorry. Right then my phone rang it was Niall I answered he was slurring which meant he was drunk he said where are you I said James's house he said I'm coming I said your drunk you shouldn't drive he said I'm fine I said no I'll come to you where are you he slurred at Louis he said come alone I said I'm not we'll see you there he said are you leaving me for this guy I said Niall really? He said whatever I'll see you when you get here. I hung up and looked At James and asked if he wanted to go he said I shouldn't but I'll give you a ride I don't want you walking I smiled and said thanks we were quiet on the ride there I pointed in the directions he needed to go once there I went to get out and then turned and said thank you for tonight I enjoyed listening to you play and just hanging out he smiled and said thanks for showing up I said are you sure you don't wanna come in he said yeah I'm good but I'll be up later if you wanna text we can I smiled and thanked him one more time and headed up to the house I saw Niall watching me from the porch I walked up and pecked him on the cheek he said wtf was that I said what he gave me a ride and I was telling him bye I said why are you jealous you hang out with the cheer squad all the time and I don't say anything. He said I'm not jealous I said I couldn't tell you seem threatened by him he said Fuck you I said is this why I came over so you could disrespect me and walked in it was packed I walked around until I found Emma and the boys they all said there ya go Niall has been looking for you I said I know I found him on the porch my brother came up he looked mad he said can I talk to you out back for a minute I said yeah thinking what I could've done to make him mad when we got out back he said don't be mad at the messenger but I saw Niall making out with one of the cheer girls I rolled my eyes and said come on Kalani he said no look I took a video because I knew you wouldn't believe me I watched it and sure enough he was for like 10 minutes I felt a tear fall down my cheek I said can you send me that please he texted it to me and grabbed for my hand he said I'm sorry sis I said no you warned me he said I didn't wanna be right about him I half smiled and said I know I said I think I'm gonna head out I went and told everyone bye and headed out Niall was still in the porch he said where are you going I kept walking he said it again I turned and looked at him more tears fell I said I'll text you later once I was down the block I called James I said are you home he said yeah I said can we meet somewhere or can I come over he said come on over I walked to his house when I knocked he opened I looked up at him he said oh no what's wrong I said he cheated on me tonight he doesn't know I know yet my brother filmed him making out with another girl he said I'm so sorry do you wanna come in and watch a movie I can make you some tea I said I would like that we watched a movie and talked it was almost 3 am he said let me take you home I snuck in through my brothers entrance he was passed out on the bed I took my shoes off so they wouldn't clunk against the hardwood floors I made it to my bathroom I showered and got in the bed by 4 am the next morning I was woke up by my sister knocking she said your gonna be late get up I looked like shit I got up I wore leggings and a long shirt through my hair up in a bun grabbed my bag and headed out I started to walk and I heard a beep I looked up it was James he said wanna ride I smiled he handed me a coffee I said how'd you know I needed this he said im a mind reader I smiled and sipped my coffee when we got there as we were headed to the school I heard my name I turned it was Niall James said you want me to wait up I said no I'm good I'll see you in first period he said Ok I turned around he said can we talk I said about what he said I think I made a mistake I said you think you mean this and started playing the video he said where'd you get that from I said don't worry where just know I know and this right here me and you is over I don't have anything to say to you he said I was drunk I said no you knew what you were doing and I know that's not the first time I just didn't have proof of the others I said I'll pack your things up and have my brother bring them to you have a nice life and turned and walked off.
