Dazed

You never see it comming

It was half an hour until school started and Alya, Nino and Adrian had meet up at Mari's place, to start off their little friendship experiment, connected to a school project, on Friday before the weekend they presented it to their teacher, not letting the other classmates know, to give them a surprise when coming in today.

"If anyone needs to go to the toilet its better to go now, before putting the handcuffs on." Nino stated, they looked at each other, and Alya handed over a pair of handcuffs to Marinette and Adrian.

Alya and Nino looked at each other and their eyes told what they couldn't say out loud for Mari and Adrian to hear, "This is absolutely going to make them closer to each other, we are the best matchmakers." Their eyes and grin said to each other.

Adrian looked down at Marinette's face blushing pink, as they walked into school, he took Mari's hand to make it less awkward with how close they were walking, with the handcuffs between them, making them less visible unless you walked behind them, they walked over the seats in their classroom, Mari and Adrian sitting together at the front row, Mari sat with her feet crossed on the bench, facing Adrian, talking about their plans for the week in front of them, and if they should meet up if his scheduled allowed it.

"ADIKINS, WHAT IS THIS?!" Chloe bursted out with seeing them sitting together, "HAVE WE SWITTCHED SEATS AND I DID NOT KNOW ADRIKINS?"

The two of them looked at each other in amusement, and with their hands holding each other they raised them for her to see. "Chloe this is what we wanted to do in our social study class project." Adrian said with a big smile on his face. "This Adrikins is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS, JUST UTTERLY RIDICULOUS."

Their hands rested on the table in front of them, watching Lie-la walking into class, as Chloe took her seat. They could see Lie-la stare at their hands, and it felt like thy could even feel it, so they took down their hands still holding each other. Adrian didn't think much of it, but Mari on the other hand, could feel her glare with disgust at her, making her uncomfortable the whole lesson.

They were glad they didn't have to take a lot of notes, especially since Marinette couldn't use her right hand to write with the handcuffs on. They enjoyed each other's company during the lessons this day, and it was sad that the day was coming to an end, but they had tomorrow to look forward too. The best thing about it, was watching their classmate's reaction to their social study class project. For Alya and Nino there weren't big of a reactions, because they were together anyways and have been for some years.

Some stares would easily be uncomfortable, especially with the ones from Lie-la and Chloe. Yesterday was one thing, it was pure reaction and getting used to it. But now as a second day on the project, Lie-la never took her eyes from Marinette.

"Adrian, you have the key, I need to use the toilet?" he handed over the key, and the one who had it, were the one who used it last. Alya kept on eating with her right hand which wasn't that easy, so Nino helped here not to make a mess everywhere during lunch.

Marinette came out of the stall and washed her hands and within seconds Chloe came out too, "Just so you know Marinette, it isn't nice to steal other girls boys, Adrikins is mine, don't forget that." Her eyes narrowed at Mari, crossing her arms, and rolled her eyes, as she walked out pretty fast to get out of the bathroom stalls, like there was someone she didn't want to meet, and it didn't take long to figure out herself. Fist's clenched as she came out and slammed the door behind her, Marinette was bewildered as she stood watching where Chloe had just been, now replaced a few sink's down from Marinette, Lila now stood, clearly in annoyance, with her lips pressed together, narrowed eyes, as she rolled them at Marinette, and expressed an exasperated sigh, while washing her hands.
