*I love you...* he said meeting her eyes.

Khushi looked at him awestruck.

*I really do... I liked you when you started behaving with me smoothly. I was hesitant to accept your proposal because you are my BOSS. I so want you to make you happy Khushi because you deserve it. I promise I will not let you suffer anymore. I will try to be a good husband...I will never leave your side no matter what...* he confessed his love, making her suffocate with happiness.

As he didn't expect, Khushi threw herself on his chest, hinting to him symbolically that she trusted his words.

*Thank you so much Arnav. Thank you for accepting me*

*You no need to thank me. You are a gem of a person... I'm a lucky guy to have you as my life partner...*

Breaking the hug, Khushi cupped his face.

*I'm not a gem... but you... you are my treasure...*

Arnav smiled, touching her hand which was holding his face. Khushi kissed his palm, making him gulp.

*I want to be with you... forever....no matter what* she said.

Arnav nodded yes and Khushi again cuddled him.

*Shall we go? * He asked as he heard a few footsteps in the parking lot.

Khushi nodded yes, breaking the hug.

They got into the car and Arnav drove off.

Arnav stopped the car in front of GH.

*Are not you coming to meet your father-in-law? * Khushi questioned teasingly.

Arnav chuckled and nodded yes. He got down from the car with Khushi and entered in.

Shashi Gupta was sitting in the living room because he knew Arnav would meet him. When Arnav entered in, Shashi smiled at him. Khushi stood next to Arnav, looking at Shashi.

*I think you guys would have got to know about the marriage date* Shashi himself asked.

*Yes, sir. Mom told me* Arnav said.

*I'm happy to have you as my son-in-law* Shashi smiled.

*I didn't expect this from you, sir*

*Why won't I do this? My daughter's happiness means a lot to me...* Shashi said looking at Khushi.

Khushi looked somewhere.

*Thank you, sir,*

*It's my pleasure Arnav*

*I'm leaving Sir*

Shashi nodded yes.

*Bye...* Arnav said looking at Khushi.

*Bye...* she said.

Arnav turned to leave,

*Arnav...one minute...* Shashi said.

Arnav looked at him.

*Yes, Sir...? *

*Stop calling me SIR... we are going to get into a new relationship. Call me uncle* He said smilingly.

Arnav nodded yes smilingly whereas Khushi controlled her smile. Arnav left GH.

Khushi headed upstairs and stopped at the first step. She turned towards Shashi who was looking at her.

*Thanks...* she said without any expression on her face and went to her room.

Shashi Gupta smiled with satisfaction. According to him, getting THANKS from his daughter was a big achievement. She was happy. That was why she thanked him. After ten long years, he became a reason for her happiness. It was more than enough for him as of now.
