It's been a week and each night I get the same nightmare. Hellie comforts me a lot when she wakes up to me crying or in the bathroom again. She still doesn't know what my nightmares are about im too scared to tell her I haven't told anyone not even Chris. And he's my best friend I tell him everything!

Once again I shot up in bed catching my breath this time Hellie was already awake. I looked at her and started sobbing. She quickly put her arms around me and said soothing things to me telling me everything alright and that she's here.

"Hellie" I whisperd after I calmed down.

"Yes, my love?" She asked.

"I-I think im ready to tell you what my nightmares are about! But you can't tell anybody, not a soul!"

"I won't. I pinky promise!" She held out her pinky. I chuckled and locked mine with hers and then we kissed our thumbs.

"Before I tell you what happens I need to explain a few things." I took a deep breath and looked at my hands as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Hey hey hey it's okay. You can do this." Hellie whisperd as she made me look at her. I gulped and wiped away a tear that was rolling down my cheek.

"People seem to think that I have perfect parents... That I had the perfect childhood. That all the pictures they see of me smiling are real and not just... Just a cover-up. But the truth is I didn't have a childhood at all... My parents were either never home they were working or when they were home they were." I stopped talking just thinking of all my terrible memories. "They would beat me for no reason." Helena gasped and tears welled up in her eyes. "And that's not the worst the worst is that we had a basement... The basement was always the worst... They would lock me down there a-and-" I started sobbing. Helena quickly wrapped me in a hug. "They wouldn't give me any food or any drink for days and the only time they would come down there is to beat me," I said in between my sobs.

"Oh, my baby! my love! I am so so so sorry! That's terrible! I'm so sorry! You don't deserve that!" Helena cried. I let go of Helena and wiped my tears.

"You don't need to apologize Hellie. You didn't do anything wrong! And it's okay im out of that house and they haven't tried to contact me since!" I explained. But she just shook her head and cupped my cheeks.

"That doesn't matter it still happened!" She sobbed. I hugged her again and told her nice things while she cried. Eventually, she fell back asleep. I smiled and kissed her head.

I know I shouldn't but right now I am beyond happy. I mean it's just the fact that Hellie is more of a mess than me because she found out I was beaten my whole life. It just made me know that she really does care that she does love me and this isn't just some dream.

I slowly laid Hellie down careful not to wake her up and then I laid down. As soon as my head hit the pillow Hellie got on top of me and cuddled me like a koala hugging a tree.

"Good night" she mumbled still half asleep.

"Good night" I whisperd.

The next morning I woke up first Hellie was still holding onto me like a Koala. So I stayed still I didn't move a muscle. About thirty minutes later she started to slowly wake up.

"Good morning love" I whisperd.

"Morning." She groaned.

"Your morning voice is hot," I thought out loud. She looked up at me and chuckled. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked embarrassed.

"Yes. you did my love" she kissed my nose and laid her head back down on my chest. I started making invisible shapes with my fingers on her back.

"I love you" I mumbled.
