I have been told by General Ironwood to check out the caravan routes that lead to Mantle, there have been numerous reports of some sort of monster. I take a bullhead out to the last attack site ahead of my sister, Weiss, to do some scouting.
Pilot: Coming up on the site, Ma'am. You might want to see this.
I take a look and the site is horrifying, the caravan trucks are destroyed, all the food is gone and there are bodies laying all across the site. One thing I did notice were the large shards of ice all over the attack site.
Winter: Get us down there, quickly.
Pilot: Ma'am.
The pilot lands and my first priority was to check the bodies and, surprisingly, all of them were still alive, except the two soldiers assigned to guard the caravan.
Winter: These people are still alive, load them aboard the bullhead!
Pilot: Yes, Ma'am, but we won't be able take them and you back.
Winter: I'll catch a ride with Weiss when she gets here. Radio her and let her know what's going on and get back to Atlas.
Pilot: Be careful.
As the bullhead takes off, I notice some large, heavy footprints leading away from the destruction. So, I decide to follow the tracks, eventually, I find the remnants of the food that was stolen and grow frustrated, I then hear a low growl from up ahead and look to see a large mammoth sized reptile, it was a little hard to tell in the wind swept snow veil, but it looked like a-

Winter: *disbelief* Dragon.
The dragon sees me and starts running away from me, if this creature is allowed to live it will attack more people, at least that's what I told myself, so I give chase. We cross some very difficult terrain, until I finally corner the beast at the top of a very tall lone rock.
3rd Person POV
Weiss arrived at the attack site and looked around for Winter until she saw her and the beasts tracks and decided to follow them.
Meanwhile, Winter's adversary tries to get around her to try and escape, Winter cuts it off with her weapon drawn. The dragon rises up on it's hind legs to try and intimidate Winter, but Winter simply rushes forward and tries to strike the dragon. The dragon reacts quickly and grabs the blade with it's mouth, it then spins around in a circle, dragging Winter with it, and throws the soldier across the flat top of the rock they're standing on. Before Winter can recover, the dragon is already on top of her and tries to bite her but Winter blocks with a white glyph. Weiss can now see the rock in the distance and sees Winter and the monster fighting.
