Your in a polyamorous relationship with Bull and Dorian. Elf or Human. I like to think that no matter what you inquisitor is a mage but uses the weapons of a rouge or warrior. (I also like to think that the marks magic infused with your inquisitor and your magic just becomes stronger and you can cast more and harder spells even after you loose your hand)
9 days later
After 3 days in the damp tunnel then sent another two avoiding red templars and main roads until we got to the Arbor Wilds. Apparently this was one of the few places Corypheus and his Venitori avoided. Dorian believed that it was because and the growing magic of this place. And because of the size of the wilds the remainder of the inquisition were able to move around and stay hidden.
Since entering the wilds we traveled searching for the hidden camp. But without any luck we just made camp for the night.
Dorian started a fire and asked me to watch it while he left to set up wards while the Bull left to hunt.
I tended to the fire. Feeding the small pyre damp twigs while wrapping my aching feet with cloth. A deep fog set in hours ago, it made all burnable materials wet and gave everyone a chill. Dorian stripped off the shirt of his tunic for me days ago, and while it covered up my thin frame it did little for warmth. But the fire gave out enough warmth.
The wilds stayed quiet and that silence gave me time to worry. Since our escape we out maneuvered many red templar patrols, many of them were searching for me. I couldn't help but worry about being followed, Dorian told me that no one would be able to follow us here, not with how the wilds changed when the veil was torn down. But the power the Corypheus and his minions gathered when he asulted the black city, he's become a God and his Venitori became kings.
"Your worrying." Dorian spoke suddenly from behind me. The sudden noice causing me jump. He put a warm hand on my shoulder before sitting beside me. "Are you alright?" I shook my head before looking down at my remaining hand. "Not really." I paused and took a breath. "My feet hurt." I spoke trying to lighten our moods. Dorian cracked a smile and chuckled. "I believe I can help." He gestured for my legs which I gladly gave.
Dorian's hands lightly glowed before he placed them on either one of my ankles. A cold aura came from his hands as the pain in my legs became an ache before disappearing completely as the cuts closed leaving nothing but painless scars. "Thank you." My voice came out tired.
"We should be almost caught up with the others." Dorian put a light hand on my cheek, which I leaned into. "Can you hold out a little longer." I smiled covering his hand with my own. "I'll be fine." My eyes felt heavy but my lips couldn't help but curl into the crooked smile Dorian always called goofy.
The Bull returned for his hunt not much later to see me dozing off beside Dorian. My mind felt muddle from the exhaustion but I managed to push sleep away and sit up. Bull noticed me and ruffled my dirty hair before showing me the bird he caught. The thing was already mostly plucked and gutted. "This should help warm ourselves." Bull let out a loud chuckle before he started cooking the bird.
Bull POV
Dorian went to check his wards, while I watched my broken lover with an aching heart. He was thin with hollowed cheeks and dark circles. His walk was sluggish and most of the time the only thing keeping him moving was a guiding hand from me or Dorian.
Now I was watching him devour the bird I got. He ate quickly and often would start coughing from nearly choking. "Slow down." I told him handing him the water skin after he began to cough again. After washing down the choking hazard Y/n look up at me apologetically but a nervous smile. "I didn't realize, h-how hungry I was until eating." His voice quiet and embarrassed. Hunger was something we knew well, its hidden blade had torn at both of our stomachs while we were imprisoned.
"I understand but slow down, you don't wanna puke." He nodded. Then Dorian run in our small camp, he was out of breath and holding a crumpled letter, the edges of the page charred. "A message from Vivienne." Dorian huffed out holding out the charred page.
Your POV
Dorian came running back into camp carrying a charred letter. "A message from Vivienne!" Bull stood up from beside me and took the letter from Dorian. He read the letter but then let out a loud laugh. "Ma'am and the rest aren't far." He smiled before handing me the letter.
Darling
You three caused quite the ruckus during your escape, luckily Corypheus and his minions have yet to find any evidence of our survival. I give you our location, bring our inquisitor back as quickly as possible.
Thank you darling.
Madam de fere
Then the letter set aflame in my hand. "We're so close." Dorian smiled before taking me into a hug while Bull joined a moment later.
"Let's go." I spoke forcing my heavy body to stand. Bull nodded before stomping out the fire and helping me gather what little supplies we had.
Author POV
The three covered their tracks before moving to the location The First Enchanter had given them. The wilds were pitch black with the promise of danger around every corner but the young inquisitor couldn't help but smile as they traveled. He and his qunari lover had been starved, beaten, and deprived of all hope. But now he could see a spark within the darkness that over took him.
Despite being exhausted his feet felt lighter than before and he even found himself leading his love's through the wilds. Only a small glowing orb that he conjured guiding their path.
Your POV
We traveled until the sun's light began to peak through the trees behind us. That's when we began to see flickering lights through the trees. "We made it!" I announced, my voice coming out louder than I intended. That's when I heard the familiar recoil of the one and only Bianca.
"Varric!" I called in the direction the sound came from. The wilds went quiet for a minute before a barechested dwarf walked out of the brush. He chuckled before putting his beloved crossbow back on his back. "Well shit, I thought you'd never catch up." I laughed before giving him a side man hug.
Varric gave me a rough pat on the shoulder. "You can't know how good it is to see you." He said giving both me and The Bull a once over. "You two look terrible." I smirked and rolled my eyes.
"Corypheus isn't exactly know for his hospitality dwarf." Bull said from behind me. "Quite the opposite." My tone became quiet as I gripped my remains of my arm. Varric looked as if he wanted to say something but decided against it. "Well the rest of our merry band of misfits have been aching from your return, wouldn't be right to keep you." Varric turned and gestured for us to follow.
As we followed Varric through the large camp many people gawked at us or rather me. "Their hero has returned from dead for a third time." Dorian whispered to me. "I've never died, I just have a talent of survival." I whispered back while elbowing him in the ribs trying to quiet his snickering.
"Well inquisitor, we're here." Varric pulled the flaps of tent back revealing four familiar faces. They were all doing there own thing until they all looked up in unison. Josephine began to tear up while Cassandra and Leliana looked relieved and Cullen just stared at me wide eyes.
"Welcome back inquisitor." Cassandra broke the silence and looked at me with a wide grin. "Good to be back." I said returning hers with a smile of my own.
"Ready to start another impossible adventure?" Cullen asked. "I won't fail a second time." Determination dripped from my voice as I clenched my fist against my chest.
OK part 2 ending, I probably won't continue this as a real story but I might be a few more parts with more romance through this universe.
