Chapter 12

"Ugh, okay fine" I gave in. I got up from the couch and walked to the door so I could put my shoes on as Levi told me. Erwin has already sent us our money for the month, but I still didn't understand why he told us we will live in an apartment when this is a house, but I think I have an idea why.

"Oi," Levi said as he flicked my forehead, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Ow," I said as I rubbed my forehead. "You zoned out, now come on" He opened the door and waited for me to walk through the doorway. I did so and saw him closing the door behind him. We walked to the car, opened the door, and sat in it. Levi started the car and began driving. The car ride was quiet and sometimes we exchanged a few words.

We arrived at the grocery store and Levi parked the car. We walked to the entrance, both grabbed a shopping cart, and began walking. "Here brat" Levi said as he handed me a shopping list, I grabbed it and began looking for the things that we needed.

*CRASH*

I heard glass shattering and people screaming. I left my shopping cart behind and ran to the source of the screaming. When I got there I saw six robbers one of them was holding a knife by the neck of pregnant women. The other five had guns and were taking money, phones, and other valuables.

I quickly took action by grabbing a broomstick out of the janitor's closet. I ran towards the robber who was holding the pregnant women. And smashed the broomstick on his head making it bleed, a few seconds later he fell unconscious on the ground. I quickly helped the women stand up and telling her to run, she did what I said, and ran away.

I then focussed on the five other robbers with the guns, they noticed me and began shooting in my direction. I dodged all of the bullets and made my way to the robber who was standing the closest to me. Before I could kick him as I planned to, he and the others fell to the ground whining in pain, holding their leg. There were knives stuck in their legs, bleeding.

I looked around and saw the one and only Levi Ackerman, holding some kitchen knives. "What the fuck are you looking at? Tie them up before they run away!" Levi said as he handed me some ropes. "Where the fuck did you got these from?" I asked referring to the rope I was holding. "They were on sale" he replied. Before I could tie them up, the robber that I knocked out with the broomstick, ran in my way holding the knife that he used earlier. Before I could dodge it, Levi grabbed the robber's wrist so tightly, that he let go of the knife. Levi then twisted his arm around his body.

"Get your hand off of me!" The robber yelled at Levi.

"You still have plenty of bones left to break," Levi said in his low cold voice.

"You... You're insane!"

"Maybe I am"

At the moment Levi wanted to break his bones the police came in. We talked to them and they thanked us, they knew from which school we're from. The school and the police sometimes help each other out, sometimes students go on a mission in cooperation with the police. And the police help the school with security and stuff.

We got the stuff that we came for and got back to the car, driving away, and talking about the incident. We got back home and Levi parked the car. As soon as we opened the door we were welcomed by worried faces. "Are you two okay??!" Armin asked. 'Wait how did they know about this?' I thought.
