A Very Zs'Skayr-y Night

"Ok, hold up. Who is Zs'Skayr?" I ask Max. "I only had time to get a run down on all the files of the Omnitrix aliens."
Max starts to explain. "Zs'Skayr used to be a part of the Omnitrix when Ben first started using it. He escaped the Omnitrix and wanted to possess Ben's body, along with bringing an army of Ectonurites to invade Earth. He was trapped in the Anur System by Atomix using an artificial sun. He somehow managed to escape, and he's currently enacting his plan on world domination."
I scratch my head. "Sooo, what do we do? Atomix is locked, so I can't make another artificial sun." I tell everyone.
Kevin shrugs. "You probably have an alien in there that could help." I raise my eyebrow in response, "Probably?"
"I mean, we don't fight Zs'Skayr or any Ectonurites enough to know which alien is the best. Well, other than Atomix."
I sigh in response. Rook pitches in. "The most effective one aside from Atomix was the transformation of NRG, but only barely. Heatblast might also be of some use." Even a little bit of insight is helpful.
Me, Rook, Gwen, and Kevin all go into Rook's truck to get to our destination.
"I thought you had a car?" I ask Kevin. He crosses his arms. "Every time I bring it, it usually gets wrecked. No way I'm bringing it here." He replies to me. Gwen also pitches in. "There was an issue a couple weeks ago with my enemy, Charmcaster. Can't really magic proof a car."
He rolls his eyes.
"Anyways, can't you use someone like XLR8 or Portaler?" Kevin asks me. "Uh, this is my first time here. Not familiar with the town. Plus, I might get lost with XLR8 and I would need to know the location with Portaler."
After a few minutes, Rook drives us to our destination. All around the city are Ectonurites ravaging the area.
We all get out of the car and get ready. Rook grabs his prototool, Kevin absorbs his piece of taydenite, and Gwen transforms into a new outfit, along with her entire body. Interesting.
I pop up the dial and look for a suitable transformation. Rook said NRG, so I select the NRG hologram and slam down.
I look at my arms, expecting to see a clunky suit, yet, I see fur instead.
"Let me tell ya somethin', Omnitrix! Rath isn't amused by your faulty transformations! I asked for NRG, so you should have given me NRG!!" I yell at the stupid watch.
Gwen rolls her eyes. "Stay in that form for now, you won't be possesed while transformed." She tells me. I nod.
I charge in and leap in the air tackling an unsuspecting Ectonurite. "Let me tell ya somethin', Ectonurite! You can't just go around here invading Rath's planet when ever you want! So Rath is giving you and your friends a chance to get out of here, before Rath rips you a new one!"
The ghostly alien only laughs, before claws rip out from its fingers, swiping at me. I jump back in response and put my arms back.
"Rath won't say sorry for what will happen ya!"
I cock my arm back, going in to slash the Ectonurite. The being simply vanishes, my arm only slashing through the air.
It reappears in front of me, and stabs one of it's claws into my shoulder.
"AUUGH!!" I hold my arm in pain. "That's it... RATH IS FURIOUS!!!"
I put both my arms back, and thrust them forward, trying to hit the Ectonurite, only phasing through it once again. I leap up into the air and land on top of a small building, trying to gain my composure.
I revert back quickly and go to the Swampfire to heal myself. I look down at who I am. "Or, Wildvine. That works too, honestly." I quickly allow my body to reconnect the wound, and try selecting NRG again I slam the dial down.
"Frankenstrike. Seriously, Omnitrix?"
I hop down to the ground and see multiple Ectonurites, who all notice me. Crap. This really is one of the worst transformations, they are both from Anur.
The Ectonurites all fly around me, trapping me in a dome of ghosts. I start to generate electricity, letting it build up, before creating my only electric field around me, shocking multiple of them. Huh, guess they really didn't expect that. Same system, different planet. It would make sense.
The Ectonurites get up and all surround me, ripping tentacles out of their chests. "Ok, now that's just wrong."
They grab onto me by my arms and legs, lifting me up into the air rapidly, before letting go of me.
I could probably survive this fall, but the damage it could cause could be immense. Need to change.
I press the dial on my belt and revert to my human form. "Ok, Omnitrix, you win! Just give me something good!" I slam down the dial.
I look at myself. "Well, this is new..." I have never seen an alien transformation like this. Luckily, the data of what an alien can do is directly uploaded to my brain. Don't know how that really works, but hey, not complaining here.
I use one of my arms on my back to stretch out, grab onto a building, and catch myself. Velocity is still catching up, so I let go when I'm the closest to the ground. Thank god that actually worked.
The Ectonurites I faced are all gathered, forming a wall-like position. Lamp posts are in front of me. Stretchy arms. Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
Two of the arms on my back reach out and grab onto the lamp posts. I start walking back, creating tension in my arms. I jump up and let go, catapulting myself forward into the Ectonurites. I laugh once I touch the ground. "Yeah! Alien bungee cord!"
I see what else is around me. I have yet another idea. I stretch out another arm, seeming to punch an Ectonurite. It moves to the side a little and scoffs. "Is that really the best you got?" It asks me. I smirk, "The best has yet to come."
Using the same arm, I grab a nearby trashcan and pull my arm back, hitting the ghost from behind, knocking it out. I pump my fist in the air. "This alien rocks!"
I use my arms an fling myself into the air, looking for more ways to fight. I notice an Ectonurite near a water tower. What ever it is doing, I should stop it.
I swing near it's location, which it reveals it claws and swipes at the tower, causing a ton of water to start coming out. Also, severely bad timing as I was near it.
It hits me, causing me to let go and fall down with the flow. It doesn't really hurt when I hit the ground, and there is seemingly less water around than I thought there would be.
I slowly get up, feeling more heavy than I remember. Wait, did I absorb all that water? So I'm like a stretchy sponge. Interesting.
I send all my arms up on the building and catapult myself up, hitting the Ectonurite with my chest. Haha, the water made me more heavy, which means more force. You dumb ghost.
I fling around and hit some more Ectonurites when they least expect it. This alien is seriously fun.
I fling myself at another Ectonurite, before a pink mass grabs it and slams it down, knocking it out. Gwen waves at me, which I reciprocate.
"You got your new first alien?" She asks. I nod. "Pretty cool, right?" She chuckles in response. "You got a name for it?"
I ponder what I should call this alien, before giving her a response. "Bungee Sponge."
She smiles. "Welcome to the family, Bungee Sponge."
I land on the ground. "Can you cover me?" I ask her. She nods, forming a barrier around me. I transform back, cycling through the Omnitrix. "Please work, just this once?" I say, before slamming down the dial.
I look to see what alien I am. It's not NRG. "I guess it's time to tell everyone to chill out."
The cloak over me unfolds into wings, which I use to fly off and find more Ectonurites.
An Ectonurite notices me and flies at me, claws looking ready to dig into me. Two can play this game.
As it's about attack me, I turn intangible, the ghost phasing right through me.
The Ectonurite turns intagible as well, after seeing what I did. As it goes in to swing at me, I blow out a wave of ice at the ghostly alien, causing it to freeze for a moment, before phasing through. I use the opportunity and kick it against it's chest, sending it down onto the road, reappearing.
I land back down and punch the Ectonurite one more time, making sure that it stays down. I form an ice barrier around myself to keep myself a little safe. I press the dial on my chest and turn back to me.
"Ok, I guess I won't fight it. Just give me something good, will you?" I say to the device on my wrist. I close my eyes, pop up the dial, and slam down.
When I open my eyes, I realize that it is kinda hard to see. I'm in some sort of container with three vertical lines that I can see through. I press my hand against the top part, opening up. Instead of climbing out of it, I fly. I look at the canister, realizing what alien I am.
"Finally, NRG!"
I melt the ice barrier with my bare hands and fly around, looking for more Ectonurites. When I see one, I fire out a beam of pure radiation, causing the aliens to knocked out. "Haha, now this is awesome!"
I hear clanging sounds nearby. I head to it to see what the commotion is.
I head to a street close by and see Kevin fighting against an Ectonurite with a Scythe. Kevin blocks the blade with his arms. It seems like both are at a standstill.
I zip in and hit the Ectonurite in the face from the back. It rubs it face in pain and snarls at me. "Well, if it isn't the great Ben Tennyson? Quite fancy meeting you here, isn't it." It says, having a very raspy voice.
"I take it that you must be Zs'Skayr? Pleasure to meet you." I say to him.
He grits his teeth. "Here to toy with me, aren't you? I will finally posses you and take control of your planet, once and for all! I will be the true High Ecto Lord!" He says with a cackle.
I send a blast at him, knocking him back. "Oh no you don't. This planet isn't meant for your or anyone's ruling. Not now, not ever."
I put my hands together and send out a large blast of radiation, seeming to hurt him a bit.
"Not bad. But, it seems you aren't as good as you used to be. How come?" He asks. I don't respond to him. I shouldn't waste my time with him. I begin to float higher in the sky, concentrating my energy, giving off a harsh glow. Zs'Skayr covers his face, backing away. He has some type of cloak over his head, so he is mostly covered. This will be harder than I thought it would be.
I fly closer to Zs'Skayr, lifting him up. "I'm not here to deal with you any longer, so give it up!" I demand of him. Zs'Skayr only disappears. Damn it.
"You got any better ideas?" Kevin asks me. I try and quickly think, before coming up with an idea. "Yeah, actually."
Zs'Skayr reappears, swinging his scythe at me. I barely dodge it and fly back onto the ground. He follows me back, ready to swing at me again.
"Kevin, little assistance?" I ask for him, to which he complies with a boot to the back of Zs'Skayr's head. He turns around and aims his attension towards Kevin. Perfect.
I undo the transformation and select my next alien. "Hey, Zs'Skayr!" I call out to him. He turns around and looks at me with a wide eye. "You, you aren't Ben... Who are you?"
I smirk. "Your worst nightmare." I slam down the dial and transform into my desired alien successfully.
"Toepick!"
Zs'Skayr dashes at me, bringing his scythe behind him, getting ready to swing.
The front part of the helmet on my head lifts up, releasing a small amount of green gas with it. Zs'Skayr stops in place, looking at me in shock at first, before turning into fear. I slowly approach him.
"Please! Stop! Don't get any closer!" He begs of me. I tell Zs'Skayr my demand. "I will hide my face if you leave this planet at once."
He nods very quickly. "Alright! We will go!" The metal cage slides back down, hiding my face.
After a few minutes, Zs'Skayr retrieves all of his lackeys and leaves through a portal that he had created to get here.
"I must say, Toepick is a very useful form." I say to the group, now in my normal state.
"Surprising words to be said. Ben rarely used him." Rook tells me. I just shrug. "Ah, well. All's well that ends well."
We head back to the Plumbers base and report all of the information to Max.
"Good work. Sorry to drag you out there like that. I was honestly a little afraid, this only being you second mission. Not to mention Zs'Skayr of all people being our target." He says.
I rub the back of my head. "Yeah, that turned out surprisingly well." I respond.
After everything gets filed, I head back to my quarters and just fall face first into my bed. With no urgency, a huge have of tiredness washes over me. I need to get some sleep.

Sorry this one took a while. I was honestly having a hard time trying to write this chapter. Had to rewatch a few Zs'Skayr episodes.
