I walked through the busy town as people darted past me quickly, all speaking in different languages that I have grown to understand through the many years in hell. As I passed by another tall building I stopped to look around me. I had no idea where the hell I was or needed to go. All I knew was I needed to find him. What may have felt like months to him, felt like lifetimes to me in hell. He was only supposed to be gone for a week in the mortal realm. Which would have been a year in hell. The building I stopped in front of had large openings on both sides of the door.

These mortals are very strange, why have openings on the side of a door? I shook my head as I started to walk towards the openings but walked right into a barrier. What the hell? First I bleed, then my firepower won't work. Now I can be withheld from entering a building? Surely my powers were not depleting that quickly.

I put my hand to my head as it started to throb and looked back at the opening again, seeing two women standing on the other side looking at me confused as I looked back.

A bell rang as the door opened and a tan woman walked out, she walked towards me quickly and smiled at me. I took a step back examining the woman as she stood in front of me. She had sky blue eyes and bright blonde hair, she almost resembled Adam in a female version sort of way.

"Are you alright darlin'?" She asked in what I remembered to be a southern accent some of the demons speaking about after they had their fun torturing a soul for the day.

I nodded my head as I looked her over, she had an extremely bright pink shirt on with different flowers all over it and light blue jeans that connected to straps going over her shoulders to her back. Very odd choice in clothing.

"Darlin'?" She asked again and I looked back at her eyes before finally answering her, "Yes?" I questioned looking back at the opening I had just walked into.

"I said are you alright? You walked right into that window." She said as she turned to inspect the window, I stepped with her and put my hand to the opening feeling something against my hand that was cool to the touch. Turning to look at the woman confused, I found her brightly smiling at me.

Raising my eyebrow I looked back at the window, "Odd thing to put in an opening. Why would you want others to look into your home?" I asked very confusedly.

She laughed at me, and I glared at her until she stopped and frowned as she looked at me, "I'm sorry love. I don't mean to laugh but that's what windows are for, plus how else would people look into my cafe?"

I raised an eyebrow as I tilted my head looking at her even more confused now, "Cafe? What on hellfire is a cafe?"

She laughed again but stopped quickly once she looked at me again and took my hand dragging me towards the door and inside of the building. We stepped inside and the quiet sound of a melody playing in the background hit my ears as a gulf of different smells invaded my nose. What could have smelt so lovely? She pulled me to a raised room divider and stood in front of me as she looked around smiling.

"This is my little cafe. It's called Rose coffee." She smiled at me with what looked like pride. All too often I would see that same look on Lucifer's face when he would collect the debts that were owed to him by a mortal. I took a step back as fear rose through my body, that looks never meant anything good.

The woman looked at me worriedly and took a step towards me, "Sugar you alright? You look a little pale and your eyes are as red as a firetruck." She looked at me closer and I stepped back as I waved my hand trying to shoo her off. But with no such luck, she stood in her place looking at me, that worried look still painted on her face.
