Pets and Wands

Flashback:

The line moved faster. It still took long. But finally. We were now inside of the room we had been waiting for. We got lead to this wide room, that had a lot of small rectangular boxes and cages.

Dyarish's POV:

The rectangular boxes were small looking. Each one of them are named. I looked around. There were also animals in cages, although, they're calm. I looked at that one corner and there were glass aquariums but with no water.

Uhm, I don't know how people would understand this but. Even if I'm a Malfoy, Slytherin blood, Snake scares me a bit.

"Hey you all!"  The man yelled excitedly.

We all stopped and looked at him.

And I just realized, Why. Just. Why. Am I left with the same people for the past two days?! All chill... All chill...

"This is the Pet Picking and Wand picking! Not really picking but more like getting. Here, you can buy any pet you want. As long as your galleons fit! Also, You'll be getting your wand free, as it is. Named right for you." The man said.

Oooh. Interesting. I, felt that, everyone felt the same, to be honest. The line moved and went nearer to the counter. The first one was Neville.

"Uhm... A-A toad please..?" Neville said, knowing it would be embarrassing.

I didn't want to laugh as I'd feel bad. I just... held it in... Hold it in... But yeah, Greatly, he got what he wanted! It was a dark-green and small toad. After that, he got his wand and he went outside and shut the door close behind him.

Ethan Morpheus, bought this white dog, it's very hairy.

"This dog please." Ethan said.

It's very cute as well. The dog's eyes barely showing, making it a lot more adorable. He paid and got his wand after. By testing it, He almost burned that poor brown butterfly.

"Sorry, here." The man said.

"Thanks." Ethan said then headed out.

The next one was Huey, Huey Middleton. That Hufflepuff. He got himself a puppy, it was like yellow-gold one. Right after, he got himself his wand.

The seller, sure was making it quick. I mean, who wouldn't be tired from assisting all those students?

Oh, I just realized? Harry and Ron had already got their wands? Well I noticed it because Harry slipped it to his cloak-pocket.

The next one was Joseph. Joseph..? Uh. I forgot. Wait. Uh... Joseph Arthur!

He quickly got himself another dog. Black dog with white on it's belly.

Wonder why these boys wanted the same pet? Well, it's not really my business or something.

The next one was Cedric Diggory. He got himself an owl. It was a black, a bit skinny owl. The owl quickly liked him and began to rest on his hat. Cedric paid and got his wand after. He headed out and handled the owl on his shoulder.

The next one was, Ron. He was shivering. He searched everywhere and finally, he got himself an owl. A gray owl. He picked the owl up and quickly the owl liked him as well?

When Ron was about to pay, he realized he had only brought 30 galleons.

"Ron, I'm sorry. The Owl costs 50 galleons and you don't have enough. I'm so sorry." The seller said, pushing the payment gently back to Ron.

His face was full of worry and sadness.

"N-No thanks then... Uh. Maybe I'll get the owl next time." He said, resting the owl back on the vacant cage.
