Chapter 11

Daniel was outside of top of Black Lion's head chatting with him.

"I just don't know what they are about. Are they trying to tell me something or show me more things." Daniel said.

:There are trying to tell you something:

"You know what's going on Black?"

:Yes. Not only do I know who will become my pilots I also can see their futures:

"Is this a good thing or bad?"

:Good. Let me tell you what's going on:

(Can't know yet sorry.)

Daniel closes his eyes as of what Black just told him, it's a little painful.

"This will be hard on everyone. I can't just do that."

:Why you think you're getting these things. It hurts I know but it's better to find out than sit and wait. I'll be with you the whole way:

Daniel sighs.

"Thanks Black. Be ready by tonight."

It was nighttime and Daniel was waiting for the perfect time to leave. He has the love of his life sleeping peacefully, it just hurts him he can't tell her.

Gently kissing her cheek before secretly sliding out of the bed writing her a note before getting everything in his bag, before he left the room he puts some of his cologne on his pillow placing it by Larmina.

He grabbed his bag walking to the door but stops and looks back at Larmina.

"I love you Larmina." Then left the room.

-Three hours before-

Daniel had got Coran, Keith, Lance and Vince alone before dinner to tell them.

"So what did you want to tell us, Daniel?" Keith asked.

"I'm leaving."

"What!" They said.

"Keep your voices down! Look." Daniel tries to find a way to say it. "I have to do this for a good reason. I can't tell you why or where I'm going but I have to."

"Why are you only telling us this? And you're going only?" Lance asked.

"Cause I trust you, no one but us can know about this. And I won't be alone. Can I trust you to keep this between us?"

The four looks at each other before looking back at Daniel nodding.

"Daniel, you know this is going to hurt Larmina." Vince said.

"I know Vince. Nothing hurts me more to leave her, which is why I need you to watch her for me."

"Why me?"

"Vince, us three known each other for a long time and you is like our brother. That will never changed. I will only keep in contact with all of you. I don't know when exactly when I'll be back but it won't be for a long time."

"When are you leaving?" Coran asked.

"Tonight."

Daniel got in the cockpit pitting his bag in the cadet seat.

:You ready to go?:

"Always."

Black took off leaving Arus. Daniel let a tear fall thinking all the good memories with everyone.

Larmina groans covering her eyes from the sun.

"Daniel it's time to wake up." She said and once she didn't here nothing.

Looking over her shoulder it was just her in the bed.

"Daniel?"

Getting out of the bed walking in the bathroom he wasn't in there.

"Where could he be."

Larmina walks back in her room and found a note of her nightstand reading it.

-Dear Larmina-

-I don't know who to tell you this but I left. I don't know when I'll fully be back but it won't be long as you think, I thought about this and it hurts but I have to do it. I left some of my things you like with you so you can think of me-

Larmina quickly puts on her flight suit running out of her room with the note.

Banging on someone's door until it opens with a sleepy Vince.

"Do you know how to gently knock." Vince said rubbing his tired eyes.

"Vince, Daniel is gone!"

"Gone? What you mean gone?"

Larmina gives him the note.

"He left last night. He didn't tell me where he was going and why."

Larmina started crying and Vince pulls her to his chest letting her cry.

"Why did he leave me?" She cried.

"Shh Larmina. I know he has a explanation, he always does." Vince said caressing her head. "It's going to be alright."

Then Vince remembers Daniel's words.

"I want you to watch her. We known each other for a long time and see you as our brother."

Vince let's his own tears fall, now he has to stay strong for his best friend/sister. He made a promise to Daniel and he will keep it.

"Please come back soon safe and sound Daniel. Be back before you know it." Vince thought.

The heart of their team/leader/best friend/brother/lover left and doesn't know where he his or when he'll be back.
