Chapter 17

Larmina woke up with the sun, groaning she is not getting out of bed. It was 10 a.m, and for Arus that's sunrise.

Turning around to see her fiance still knocked out. It has been two weeks since Daniel came back and he's been tired, Larmina asked him yesterday and he said he's just getting back in shape. Meaning in case something pops up he'll be ready.

Larmina gently shook him making him groan pulling up the cover turning the other way.

"Babe, babe, wake up." Larmina said shaking him.

Daniel halfway opens his eyes looking at Larmina.

"I'm not getting up." Daniek groan.

"I didn't say you have to."

"Then why did you wake me up?"

"Cause you're not going to lay in bed 24/7."

"Why not? Nothing has happened and I want to sleep."

Larmina rolls her eyes but smile, he is still acting like a child.

"Fine. I'm gonna take a shower."

Going into the bathroom, washing her face brushing her teeth then taking at shower. Coming back in her room in a blue bathrobe going to her closet, it was a today so Larmina decided to put on a blue dress and white wedge heels.

"You look better naked."

Before she could turn around Daniel was hugging her from behind.

"I thought you was going to sleep all day." Larmina said.

"No. Vince, Chris and I was going to spar to keep our skills up and Emily is just doing mechanical things with Hunk." Daniel said.

"That's good cause I don't want you to be lazy."

"I'm a king I can't be lazy."

"Have fun with that I have to do some paperwork and so does Allura."

"What paperwork?"

"Well for me I have to give permission for some planets and Allura has some from the village."

Larmina was fully dress and gave Daniel a kiss.

"I'll be busy for an hour."

"You be safe alright." Daniel said.

"I will, love you."

"Love you too."

After Larmina left and Daniel got ready.

Larmina was in the living room with Allura going over paperwork.

"These rulers are trying to do a lot of things." Larmina said.

"Why you say that?" Allura asked looking up from her papers.

"Ever since Wade was taken down the planets he took possession they are trying to add some many things."

"Who's asking?"

"Their rulers. Some things they have to ask me for permission before even thinking about building or adding something high tech."

"Looks like everything is getting back to normal, since evil is out of the picture."

"Don't jinx it. Evil is never gone and never will be."

"Woof!"

The ladies turn their heads to see Treasure coming in with something in her mouth.

"Hey girl, whatcha got?" Larmina said letting her dog give her the scroll.

Unrolling it Larmina read the note.

"Oh crap."

"What's wrong?" Allura asked.

Larmina looks from the scroll.

"Me, Daniel and Vince have to go to Arion for the lion festival."

"What's a lion festival?"

"A lion festival is a when Arion celebrates the king of the lions and spirits. Mostly it's a fair where everyone celebrates their ancestors."

"I almost forgot, I don't know anything about Arion."

"It's the planet that is lion themed and goes with lion traditions. Arion is the first, that goes for people and lions. Ariel is the second that goes for the spiritual. And Arus is the last that goes for the lion/robot lions or voltron."

"Wait what?"

"You mean you don't know?"

"Know what?"

"Arus is voltron home, just it's home. Arion is where the idea of voltron came, Ariel is their spirits and Arus is their home land."

Allura looks down, Arus is just a home for voltron.

"Meaning the castle of lions is actually on Arion." Larmina finished.

Daniel, Chris and Vince was in the control room with the guys chatting after their sparring.

Larmina came in walking towards them.

"Daniel, Vince." She said.

"Hey love, is everything okay?" Daniel asked.

"The lion festival is tomorrow."

"Oh you almost made me think- wait the lion festival?"

Larmina shakes her head.

"Oh crap!" Daniel and Vince said.

"That's what I said! We don't have anything to wear."

"I'll call my mom." Daniel said getting up going on the screen.

Next thing Queen Ariel faced appeared.

"Hello son, I'm guessing one of you got my letter." She said.

"Yes mom, but we have nothing to wear."

"Oh no need to worry about that, just come tomorrow before sunset and we'll have everything ready."

The three sighs in relief.

"You three are acting like your dying."

"Cause we forgot and didn't have anything to wear." Vince said.

"Well it's good that we have everything under control. Have a nice day."

"Bye."

The screen disappears.

"Your mother is real nice." Lance said.

"She is, just don't make her mad." Daniel said.

"So what is this lion festival?" Hunk asked.

Daniel explains it to them.

"So everyone on Arion and Ariel will be there."

"Why does the lion riders have to come?" Keith asked.

"For the spiritual part of the festival." Vince said.

"This will be a fun night." Larmina said.

Daniel and Larmina was taking a bath together having a conversation.

"I'm still keeping my guard up." Larmina said washing her arms.

"What if the darkness haven't started yet, and just trying to build up it's army." Daniel said leaning back.

"Could be, but when will it tho."

"We just need to have some normal fun before thinking about fighting, the voltron force doesn't get breaks."

"You can say that again."
