Delphine Pov:

Hi! You probably know me already but if you don't I'm Delphine, here humans have really and unique pretty names like the giants, after earth was takin' over by giants during the war of last year we been put into pet stores so the giants could adopt us and claim us, my older been adopted by a giant months ago and I'm still worry about her and my sake, the owner is actually pretty loving, he's also a pretty man like all of the males, I met some new friends, one of them stayed with me and her name is Valentine

" Delphine, you wanna play to take you're mind of?" Valentine asked me as I hugged my knees and keep thinking of my older sister

" I don't feel like playing" I answer, without paying her attention

" hey, you we're brave of trying to escape here with me bunch of times" Valentine said as she sat beside me, I turn to her to meet her beutifull sky blue eyes, silky blonde hair with her tips baby pink

" thank you for that, but...." I started to say and look down at the floor

" but what?" Valentine asked

" it's just.. Earth is beiny attacked by so many beings and things, we we're living a happy normal life in piece, why they have to ruin it?" I asked her

" keep it down, they have great sense of hearing" Valentine reminds me and I nodded to understand " also it's how life is, life to life and time to time, during those they're will be hard ships and changes to over come and you did well to speak for you're sister, I'm sure she's alive and hopping you're alive and well as well"

I have tears in my eyes of her kind, gentle words, how did I ever not met her before?

" how someone so nice can say that speech to someone that's only now 11 years old?" I asked with a smile

" because this is what best friends or even just friends are for" Valentine answer

" you won't leave me here, right?" I asked

" of course not!" Valentine answer " if I get adopted I'll try to fine my way back to you"

" and same goes for you too" I said " you're the only family left since my mom died when the others try to took over and my dad got killed while the war of humans and giants and well my sister.. You know what happens"

She nodded

" that I do" Valentine answer

We soon hear a bell, that means a giant is coming here, we hear loud thundering footsteps coming in the room and going to the owner

" Delphine, quick let's hide in our house!" Valentine shouted quickly, before I can say anything I was dragged by to in our house

" what if they take you again?" I asked her worried

" Dolphin, I'm older then you, I can escape safiey and come straight back to you, you don't have to worry" Valentine answer, I smile when she use my nickname

I then hear thundering footsteps coming closer to our cage and I feel Valentine give me a tight hug to her side

" any humans you like, sir?" the owner asks this actually really handsome teenage boy, he looks about 16 years old, he looks all the humans in our cages then he turn his head towards Valentine and I and my nerves start to kick in, oh no

" I'll like that one, please" the boy said, I don't know if he's pointing at me or my friend over here

" I'll get the stuff" the owner said, I see the boy looking down at us with a soft smile, I grip my arm tighter to Valentine's hand and she do the same to me, I see the owner's hand coming this way to grab one of us, I close my eyes for the impact
