Great Start

You wake up to the birds chirping. You look at your phone and the time reads 8:56 am. You had woken up a little earlier than usual. You feel a furry warm body on the side of your right rib. You pet it softly. The furry animal wakes up and purrs, "Good morning Neko" you say softly, he stands up and stretches on your bed, he then walks over to your head and plops down right next to it. You smile amazed at how loving your cat is.

You reach across Neko to grab your phone, you check all your messages and notifications. Last night you forgot to do something very important...It was a promise to your parents that every day you would text them, just to do somewhat of a "check-up," but last night you were busy and exhausted. You sighed and scratched your head "Ima get yelled at today" you say reading the group chat you have with your parents.

Mom: Good Morning y/n how did you sleep, sweetheart?

Dad: Morning y/n, you there?

Yesterday 9:50 am

Mom: Hey sweetie just checking up on you, how are you doing?

Dad: Where are you y/n?

Mom: Y/n we are starting to get worried, where are you?

Dad: Y/n we talked about this, if you can't be responsible and pick up your phone to text your family, then there's absolutely no reason why you should have it if you can't do a simple thing like text back your own family.

You sigh and close your phone, "What do I even say, I don't want to hear the negative comments he has to say about not texting him back." "Actually it can wait," you say throwing your phone on the bed. You grab your toiletries and walk to the bathroom. You walk into your cute modern bathroom and turn on the shower, you then run to the kitchen to warm up your tea so that when you come out it's already ready. You run to the shower while Neko running behind you. You undress and hop in. The shower was so warm, almost like your bed, but better.

You run your hands through your hair, it feels so silky and smooth while the water is soaking your hair. You stand, back towards the showerhead so that the water would be hitting your backside, which was very relaxing to you. "Imagine a spa day," you say to yourself as you wash your body.

After getting out of the shower you brush your teeth and get dressed. You feed Neko and sit down at your small dining table with your cup of tea. After Neko was finish eating he sat right next to your feet watching you drink your warm cup.

You check your phone it was almost 9:30, "Ahh okay Neko I gotta go to work now" you say running to grab your bags of equipment and snacks for the kids. You put your shoes on and he just stands there watching you. You laugh as you grab your bags. "Alright Neko," you say kissing him on his head. You leave your apartment ready for the day ahead of you.
