Wanda's surprise

It's been a month since Wanda moved in with Bucky, It was Wanda's birthday today, Bucky already bought Wanda's gift 2 days early and asked Steve and Natasha to looks after it. Since Wanda hasn't had a good birthday since the death of her parents Bucky wanted to make this special for her. Ever since Vision broke up with her and kicked her out of her apartment she said she feels like she's lost everyone besides him and that she feels alone so he's hoping that she will like this. Bucky bought Wanda a ginger cat, which is what she's been wanting for a while.

Bucky decided so Steve can get it here without Wanda knowing he will ask her out to lunch and leave spare keys under the mat so Steve can get in and put the can in it's carrier on the kitchen counter, Steve will text Bucky when he did it (Bucky has already told Steve this) he went to Wanda's room, she was putting on mascara, "Hey, Wans" she turned to look at him and smiled, "Hey, James", "Happy birthday, Wans", "Thanks James", "Of course Wanda. Wanda, would you like to go to lunch with me, my treat?", "I would love to, just let me finish putting on my mascara then we will go" She said with a smile, he smiled back and nodded, he left the room to let her finish. When Wanda and Bucky ordered their food Wanda went to the bathroom so Bucky texted Steve to drop it off now.

"Nat, honey, I'm dropping off Wanda's cat at their apartment" Steve said putting his jacket on. "Okay Babe" She passed him the cat in it's carrier, "Be safe" Nat said kissing his cheek, "I will, I love you", "I love you too Steve" Steve left for their apartment when he got there he grabbed the keys that Bucky said was under the mat. He put the cat in the carrier on the kitchen counter as he got a text from Bucky saying they are on there way back, they will be 5 minutes, Steve quickly locked the door and put the keys back under the mat and ran out.

Bucky and Wanda got to the apartment door, Bucky grabbed the keys from under the mat, Wanda was about to open the door till Buck stopped her, "Wanda wait, close your eyes, I have a surprise for you", "Umm, Okay" Confused, she closed and covered her eyes, Bucky opened the door to see the cat in it's carrier, smiling he lead Wanda in and stood her in front of the cat carrier, he stood behind her. "Okay Wans, open your eyes" She opened her eyes to see a cat's carrier, she was a bit confused until she turned it around, "Wait a minu-" Wanda put her hands over her mouth, "You got me a cat?", "Yep, you've told me how you haven't had a good birthday since your parents died and you've told me how you've always wanted a ginger cat. What do you think?" Bucky asked,

Wanda removed her hands from her mouth and had a wide smile on her face, "I love it!!" She turned around and hugged Bucky, "Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!", "Of course Doll... I mean Wanda" Bucky accidently said, she turned to the cat, took it out of the carrier and picked it up, as she turned Bucky was a bit embarrassed but quickly got over it, she turned to Bucky as she stroked it, she let Bucky stroke it as she held it, "It's a girl so what are you gonna name her?", "Umm, I've always like the name Heather" Wanda said stoking her, Bucky smiled, "Heather's a nice name" Bucky said, Wanda smiled, they sat on the couch watching a movie with the new addition, Heather Wanda's cat.
