Your Perspective

"So do you see anything?" Eula asks.

"Yes."

". . ."

". . ."

". . . Well can you tell me?"

"No."

Eula throws her arms up in frustration. We managed to reach the location and then began spying from afar. Eula has tried to make small talk here and there but I've done my best to ignore her. She looks rather annoyed at this and so she jabs me in the rib, distracting me enough to snatch the telescope from my hands.

"HEY!"

"You were being an ass, this was the next best course of action. We're already stuck together so why don't you at least try and work with me." Eula says. She pauses before continuing.

"Plus, don't you want to be the Reconnaiscance captain?"

"I'd rather not if it meant to keep a Lawrence away from the Knights." I sneered. Not long afterward, a punch connects with my face. Nursing where the blow landed, I glared back at her, asking what the fuck her problem was.

"Oh, so that's what it's all about?! Can't you look past that for once?! I don't bring up that your family has caused endless issues for my own! Lawrence this, Lawrence that, can't you see I'm my own person?" She yells at me. When the outburst is done and over with, she's left panting from exhaustion and beet red. Standing there shocked for a bit, I felt my face heat up in anger, and the area around us began to hear up considerably. Calming down, I jump up and grab my sword, heading towards the building without a word.

"I'll continue this mission by myself." I say turning slightly to her. A walk around the building let me find a entrance that I snuck through. These people are called the Fatui apparently. Judging by how many there are, I could probably defeat 20-30 of them. I peaked around the corner and quickly back before they saw me. Alright, I've seen enough.

Current Objective?

Escape.

So I did my best to do so. Then I stepped on a floorboard and it creaked. I mentally cursed at myself a thousand times over as my brashness might have gotten me screwed over big time

"Who's there?!" One of them says, catching the attention

"Fuck." I say to myself.

I drew my sword as they came at me. Remember what Mom taught you (Y/N). So I took a deep breath and activated my vision, sending a huge wave of fire at them, pushing some of them back. There's a lot of em so it didn't hit everyone. I was about to send out another wave when the temperature got colder. Eula came in, crashing through a window and began fighting alongside me.

"You're a real idiot, yknow that? We're partners so we might as well work together, whether you like it or not." She says, her back against mine. Rolling my eyes, I bathed my blade in flames, charging up for an attack.

"Never thought I'd fight side by side with a-"

"Can it and fight, (Y/N)." She says, activating her vision before lunging forward. I can't help but smile to myself. Maybe they aren't all bad after all. I re-activated mine and rejoined the fight to help her.
