IRIS IS HAVING A TOUGH DAY AT WORK. I mean just today a customer spit in her face because she forgot to put pickles in their cheeseburger, she almost quit right then and there but then she remembered how broke she is.
She lives in a small apartment in the most poor part of town and barely makes enough to pay her rent let alone buy food so she had to deal with the horrible people her job came with. After getting the check from the customer she cleaned the table but then two men came in.
She had to admit they were Insanely handsome and would totally screw both of them but "nows not the time to think dirty thoughts" Iris thought as she went back to cleaning the dirty table then when she was done she saw them sitting down on the table next to the one she cleaned and went to take their order
"Hello My names Iris what can I get you today?" Iris said with a monotone voice "Uhm we're not here for food, we're here to see if you would like to come with us" said the guy with the British accent
"What are you talking about?" Iris questioned suspiciously "We know your a mutant" said the guy in a black turtle neck
Iris started freaking out on the inside I mean how did the handsome guys know she was a mutant she hasn't used her powers around anyone or even in her house so how could they figure out she was a mutant? Did they work for the government? Are they gonna take her away? "It's okay we're one of you" a voice echoed in Iris's head
Iris got startled she didn't know who's voice that was until she looked at the British good looking guy and he had his two fingers on his temple and said "we're wondering if you could help us" in her head and told Iris everything that was happening and if she could help she obviously said yes cause who wouldn't want to spend time with two handsome guys and save the world while your at it
Before Iris left she went up to her bitchy manger Karen and said "I quit" she looked at Iris with a crazy look on her face and said "No you're fired!" As Iris was walking away from her she flipped her off and after that she felt all the tension in her body disappear
"Where are we going now" Iris questioned the telepath "To our base" he replied as they got into the car
"We forgot to introduce ourselves I'm Charles Xavier and I'm a telepath and That's Erik Lensherr He can control metal" said Charles and right then and there Iris knew this trip was gonna be one hell of a ride
