"You guys! Did you watch the news last night?!" The invisible girl exclaimed.

Several of your classmates turned towards her. "Yeah.."'

"It was so cool that we got a few seconds of screen time!" Hagakure's sleeves folded onto her desk. "Though I bet no one noticed me hanging out in the background." Her voice pouts at the end.

"Probably not.." The boy sitting beside her, Mashirao Ojiro, replied. "It's kind of hard to stand out when you're just gloves."

You take that as a signal to run up behind her and wrap your arms around the girl's body. "I'll always notice you, though! And I know you can make them notice you too!" You hug her tighter, which had a strange visual effect.

On the other side of the classroom, you overheard a similar conversation.

Kaminari leaned back in his seat to speak to Kiri and Jirou. "We're totally big deals," he drawled. "Those news channels love us; we're basically celebrities."

"Yeah it's pretty crazy, right?"

"Get over yourselves. The hero course that pumps out pros was attacked, and that's what they care about."

Sero joins their conversation. "Who knows what would have happened to us if the teachers hadn't shown up..."

A certain purple person is frightened by the course of the conversation. "WHY'D YOU SAY THAT?! I'M GONNA PEE MYSELF JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!"

"OH, SHUT UP! GROW A PAIR LOSER!" Bakugou goes full demon mode on the boy.

Sato made little fists in the air. "Did you see All Might fighting the bird guy? That guy was super strong and he still destroyed him!"

This brought your mind towards pressing matters and you let go of Hagakure. "Guys, what about Mr. Aizawa? He was beaten up so much trying to protect us." Your voice cracks at the end. That can't happen again; he can't get hurt because of us. We have to become stronger. Iida comes running into the room, demanding everyone to take their seats for homeroom class. You oblige as the subject of your worry enters the room. His appearance interrupted the murmurs that had spread about who would teach class.

Wrapped heat to toe in bandages, Mr. Aizawa slides the door open. His arms are both in slings. "Morning class," a muffled voice says beneath the cloth.

"MR. AIZAWA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" The class exclaims as a whole. Everyone's respect for their teacher goes up by levels.

"My wellbeing is irrelevant." He walks to stand behind his podium. "What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."

Surprise spreads through the class. What does he mea-

"The UA Sports Festival is about to start." His hooded eyes make contact with the students. I've been waiting for this one! Turn it up! A toothless smile marks your face. Cheers erupt around you, as well as groans at the false atmosphere the teacher had previously created.

Jirou however asks what was in the back of everyone's mind. "Is it really such a good idea to hold a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?"

Aizawa sighs. "Apparantly the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever. Plus they're beefing up security in comparison to past years. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's now something we can cancel just because of a few villains."

After a few objections from Mineta, Aizawa silences him. "Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world. Even more so than the Olympics. So you better give your all if you want to be scouted; that's why this event matters. If you want to go pro one day that is." Everyone eagerly looks forward. "One chance a year, three chances in a lifetime. No upcoming hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training." He looks around. "Class is dismissed." Wow, today's homeroom felt really short.

You walk over to Kiri once the bells rings. "Yeah that villain stuff sucks," he looks to the ceiling, "BUT I'M PUMPED FOR THESE GAMES!" Sero and some of the other guys from the class come over to his desk as well and start shouting about how excited they are. You start thinking to yourself about the best way to make an impact. Let's do this!

Uraraka seems to have the same idea as you. "EVERYONE! I'M GOING TO DO MY BEST!"

Several people shout her words back while you cup your hands and cheer. "YES QUEEN! GET IT!" When the boys near you didn't join in, she runs to them and repeats her words. They nervously shout back.

After classes for the day are over you start walking alone in the hallway. The large ceiling stretches overhead, the windows let in soft afternoon light. You hum and slightly skip down the less-used hall. You ended up here by exploring, which you don't know if you're exactly allowed to do or not. But I'm not bothering anyone, so I should be okay. You look over to a stairwell when a face emerging from the wall greets you.

"MIRIO!" You exclaim with a wide smile.

"Y/n! I heard your class got attacked!" Mirio envelops you into a hug. He pulls back in concern. "Are you okay?"

"Do I look okay?" You spin around.

Mirio smiles largely and laughs. "You look like a UA student!" He shakes his head. "You've had your first encounter with villains and everything. Before I could even greet you as a student!"

You link your arms through his and continue down the hallway. "You've probably been busy. I know Dad has. You haven't even came over for dinner recently." Mirio guiltily scratches the back of his head at this. The two of you head outside into one of the school gardens and towards the front gate. You quickly grow some flowers up with your quirk and spin them together. You unlatch your arms to bend down. Picking them from the ground, you place the necklace around Mirio's neck.

"Aw, it's perfect! Thank you, Y/n!" Mirio exams the snowbells that hang beneath his chin. You continue to walk and begin humming. He follows and whistles.

You decide to skip the bus and take the considerably long walk home with Mirio at your side. By the time you get there, Nighteye has returned home. It's unusually early for him, but he had been working a lot of overtime recently. Mirio follows you into the house and you go to your father's home office. He sits behind his desk reading a report. When you come in he sets it down and stands up. "Hello, Sir!" Nighteye nods.

"Dad, can he stay for dinner? Pretty please?"

Nighteye agrees and fixes your favorite food. The three of you sit in the kitchen and enjoy your meal and the company. We haven't done this in months. I missed it.
