I wake up, not to any alarm of any sort. This made me panic a bit wondering what time it was. I check my phone beside me to see the time.

7:50

7:50?!

Class starts at 8. I have 10 minutes.

I quickly get up brush my teeth and change. I curse myself for not setting an alarm. I felt so tired being waken up and not even have time to prepare for class..

I bring my stuff and rush over to the classroom. As I enter I look over to the clock in the room. 7:59.

Good.. I'm not late.

I sigh in relief and just sit somewhere random not caring where it was right now.

I sat down and rub my face trying to overcome my sleepiness.

"Kiri?" Someone who I'm assuming is Makoto said beside me.

"..Yes Makoto?" I say keeping my hands on my face.

"Huh?! How did you know it was me?" He asks confused.

I take my hands off from my face and look at him. "I mean I'm able to recognize your voice by now Makoto." I say.

"..."

"..A-And you're the only one who calls me.. Kiri." I add on.

"O-Oh right.. ah. But are you okay?" He asks.

"I'm fine, I just forgot to set an alarm." I said.

"Oh what made you forget?" He says.

"Nothing in particular, just forgot." I repeat.

Was there a reason? I usually always set an alarm.. I wonder what distracted me.

"..."

The rose.. I was really.. touched by it. Perhaps that distracted me? ..No. That couldn't be it.
I look over at Makoto.

"..Thanks for the rose Makoto, I appreciate it." I tell him.

He blushed and didn't know what to say for a brief moment.

"..Er y-yeah! You're welcome Kiri." He says clearly flustered.

...

I wonder what he got Maizono.. not like it's any of my business though.

The teacher started her lesson on some more math.

We all had our textbooks and were just following the specific page she was on.

During the middle of her lesson I notice Sayaka pass a note to Makoto. As he reads the note his face gets all flustered..? No. Flustered wasn't it, it was more a mix of anxiousness and confusion.

He looks at her and nods agreeing to something.

I just shrug it off, as I didn't really have interest in what those two would be off planning..

After about an hour or so, we were dismissed for lunch. I had been craving lunch as I didn't have enough time for breakfast.

I walked into the cafeteria and headed straight for the kitchen. I made another sandwich and a side of some fruit.

When I get out the kitchen I notice all the tables are taken.

Damn it. I guess I have to eat in my dorm. I quickly start to walk away to the door when suddenly I heard someone call out my name.

"My my Kirigiri in a rush are we? Come sit with us." I turn around to see it was Celeste who said that.

I notice that Toko was also sitting with her at the table. I suppose it couldn't hurt to sit with them. I head over to them and sit next to Toko so Celeste was across from me.
