I woke up to the sound of my alarm today thankfully. Though I did have to set it way earlier than usual.
It was 5am. The trial starts at 8. So, I have 3 hours to get ready, eat breakfast, and head to the courthouse.
Better get to it then. I did all the usual stuff such as brushing my teeth, washing my face, brushing my hair, and changing into my usual clothes.
I head out my room, not seeing anyone else in sight in the dorm area. Makes sense of course, since it's a bit early.
"I wonder what I should have for breakfast.." I thought, walking to the dining hall.
But when I step in to my surprise someone was already here.
It was none other than the Ultimate Gambler Celestia Ludenburg.
She notices me immediately and flashes me a smile. I just give a wave back before heading to the kitchen.
I should really tone it down on the coffee but it's only natural I drink some today as well since it's pretty early. I can't risk being tired during trial.
Not that I was complaining as well, coffee is actually my favorite drink. I didn't really feel like making anything else so I just grabbed some cinnamon bread to go with my coffee.
I head back out to the dining hall with my breakfast in hand.
I sigh. I suppose since Celeste and I are the only ones here it's only natural I sit with her.
"Morning Celeste." I greet her, putting down my breakfast on the table.
"Good morning Kirigiri, what brings you here so early?" She asks.
"I'm going somewhere, so I won't be able to attend class today." I inform her.
"Ah, what a shame." She says, taking a sip of her tea.
"A shame..?" I repeat her words a bit confused.
"Of course, after all I look forward to seeing you in class Kirigiri." She responds.
What? She looks forward to seeing me?
"..I see." I take a sip of coffee after forcing out those words.
"Would you like it if I tell the teacher why you won't be present today for you?" She offers.
"And why would you do that for me?" I raise an eyebrow at her.
She doesn't respond but simply gives me an innocent smile instead.
...
Is she teasing me or.. ...
I spent about 1 hour and a half making conversation with Celeste. I didn't really have anything else to do.
