chapter 20

(This is a continuation of oikawa and iwaizumi chapter >< so yeah....)

Oikawa sat on the toilet with the pregnancy test in his hands. It came out positive. He was of course excited but also really scared.

Iwaizumi was still im California and he was in brazil for a while. He had to tell him, but it would cause a panic and nervousness for him.

Another thing was...oikawa was told he could never have children. Something in his system was messed up that could harm the child. He felt like a failure of an omega.

But maybe this was a miracle child. Him and iwaizumi were always careful when they had sex- always had condoms. They never wanted to go through loosing a child. It was too painful.

Oikawa sighed and he put the test away. It was a little painful to see it. The reason he wanted to use it was because he was having morning sickness. Not a good sign.

Oikawa decided to cool off and take a walk through brazil, thats when he saw hinata and kageyama.

He went up to them and was surprised to see them have a child. Pain. He wished he could give iwaizumi children.

They said their goodbyes and Oikawa broke down a little. He went back to his hotel room and went to the bathroom again and looked at the pregnancy test.

He dialed his lover hoping he would answer, and he did.

"Hello."

"Iwaizumi." He started

"Yes?"

"Iwaizumi..." he start crying- happy tears? Not really but kinda.

"Woah whats wrong?"

"Iwa....im pregnant." He says sighing

"You are?" He says a little shocked.

"Yes....im pregnant."

"This better not be one of your jokes."

"Its not iwa....your gonna be a dad."

"Babe im getting the first flight to meet you."

"Iwa what-"

Iwaizumi hung up before Oikawa tells him not to come .

- 1 week later -
"Babe what do you want for breakfast?" Iwaizumi asks oilawa who is on the bed watching t.v. "Um i dont know." He responds not  really interested in eating at the moment.

They recently went to the doctor office for a check up and they said the baby was very healthy and it was 10 weeks old.

The soon to be parents were very happy to hear that. Iwaizumi decided to stay in brazil with Oikawa for 2 years while he did school online. He wanted to he there for them.

When the baby was 2 iwaizumi would go back to California with the baby as Oikawa had to train and he did travel a lot, so he couldn't take care of the baby. But when iwaizumi graduated school he would settle down with the baby and Oikawa would visit a lot. 

The couple both know they will make it work for their baby. How could they not it would be their miracle child.

- 5 months later -
Iwaizumi rushed to the hospital- he got a call at work saying Oikawa was getting sent to the emergency room. Something happened to the baby.

He walked through the doors and went straight to the front desk. "Im looking for Oikawa tooru." He asks the nurse. They gave him the room number and he ran up the stairs to see him.

"Oikawa...babe, babe im here....im here." Oikawa cried into his arms. The pain in his stomach getting worse. "Its ok . The baby is going to be just fine." He says rubbing his back.

The doctor came knocked on the door as he came in. "Hello...we will be doing a c-section right now. The father can wait in here." He says and they rolled Oikawa away.

So iwaizumi waited hoping that Oikawa and the baby was ok. It was really early for the baby to born yet.

45 minutes passed and the doctor came in. "Hello iwaizumi, im doctor. Choi (?) and your husband is resting. Unfortunately the baby did not make it. There wasnt enough nutrients for the baby- we saw that Oikawa system is unable to carry children. Were sorry for your lost." He tells iwaizumi who is completely silent.

A little while after they rolled Oikawa into the room. He was asleep but you can tell he was in a lot of pain. It physically hurt him that he had to tell his lover that their miracle baby did not make it.

Iwaizumi heard small grunts coming from oikawa as he tried to open his eyes. "Hello baby." Iwaizumi said stroking his omegas face. "We lost the baby....didn't we?" Oikawa asks bluntly. Iwaizumi slowly nodded never taking his eyes off him.

Oikawa nodded slowly aswell as he cried silently. "Im sorry....im sorry i cant give you children iwaizumi." He says silently. "Its not your fault Oikawa. Dont blame yourself- your all i need. Not how many kids you can or cant have....ok?" He says and Oikawa cries silently.

He felt like a failure yet again.

- 8 years later -
(Basically where we are in the book)

"Dont forget your lunch honey!" Oikawa says to his daughter. Iwaizumi and Oikawa decided to adopt 3 years after the accident happened. They adopted a little girl in argentina (where Oikawa lived)

Then they moved to Japan and started a family. A small beautiful family, they wanted nothing more than this.

"Thank papa!" She says kissing his cheek and walking to iwaizumi who was dropping her off at school.
