Chapter 26

The third year rolled around. yamaguchi being team captain was probably one of the best but also worst decisions ever, best because Karasuno was one of the top volleyball schools now- there were so many first years wanting to join the volleyball club. Worse because well now Tsukishima couldn't keep his hands to himself- always taking away their captain for a small 'break'. This surprised the others not knowing Tsukishima could be this type of way but his beta was one of the hottest boys in school. 

Kageyama was the first of course. Omegas came to their practices to cheer him on as he served, but they had to close the gym because the girl's scents were distracting the younger teammates. Kageyama not paying any mind to the omegas. 

"Is it just me or are those girls slicking over Kageyama- it's not annoying like like....LIKE HE DOESN'T EVEN CARE!!" Hinata says in the locker room taking off his shirt. It's the end of practice and all the third years were the last to leave. "I mean I do think their scents are bothersome," Kageyama says eating a protein bar. 

"Kageyama no eating in the lockeroom, we don't want ants like last time." Yamaguchi says putting on his pants. "Yeesss captain." He replies throwing the bar in his gym bag. "Ugh you guys all stink- we should get showers." The four boys turn their heads to Yachi. "Yachi you're not supposed to be in here" Tsukishima says rolling his eyes zipping up his sweater. 

"Look I get lonely in the girls dressing room- we only have one more girl and she also leaves early. YOU GUYS ARE MY ONLY FRIEDSSS....also it's not like I haven't seen you guys in your underwear." she says making fun of them. "WEirdoooo PERVVV!" Hinata says earning a scowl from the girl. 

"Well lets go yachi!" Yamaguchi says as hes the first one done changing. "Bye Bye" She waves to the boys. Tsukishima following them not long after. Now it was only the two of them. 

They take the longest since they talk a lot and do extra practice so it's not uncommon for them to be alone together in the dressing room. But for some reason Hinata was feeling shy. 

"Hinata."

"Yes...?"

"Do the omegas bother you?"

"Do they not bother you...kageyama"

"They do"

"So why are you asking me?" 

"Because their scents seem to bother you- I thought it was an omega thing but it seems like even tsukishima can smell their scents. But after that night...I can't seem to smell other omegas. Except you." Kageyama turns toward Hinata, who was a blushing mess. 

"When you say that night...you mean-"

"The night you went into heat...in the club room." 

The room went silent. Hinata had known his feelings since first year but after knowing his secondary gender he never wanted to be in a relationship, being an omega sucks and having heats suck. everything sucks. He never wanted to show that side of himself to anyone- especially not kageyama...but that night he did. His heat came unexpectedly and he tried to stop it by taking his pills but it was too late. 

"But after that night you never stopped coming to practice or taking breaks and your scent been more faint. Why?" 

Hinata laughs lightly, "Kageyama you sure do pay attention. I'm on heat suppressants.  They stop me from getting my monthly heats. There some side effects like my scent not being as strong and my slick....EH WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS." Hinata covers his face an embarrassment. 

"hinata look at me" Kageyama says pulling Hinata hand away from his face. "I need to smell you." He pulls Hinata down, both of them sitting on the changing room bench. hinata mind goes blank as he feels kageyama breath near his neck.
