George was awakened by the fierce sunlight that scorched his cheeks. He felt a sharp pain in his right eye as he slowly opened it and gazed at the clock reading: 1:00 p.m.
"Shit," he thought, rushing to prepare his Discord for the long stream that was ahead of him.
He had promised Dream that he would attempt a new challenge. "Stream for 48 hours". He dreaded the thought of doing such a challenge, but anything for his friend. Or rather, the person he thought he was falling in love with.
He had to set up his chair again since he had broken it and he even had to plug in his microphone again since he accidentally unplugged it after his last stream. He knew he was an idiot for this. How can you accidentally be so distracted and disconnect your microphone? Only George was aware of the truth. However, he also felt a little ashamed of it. It was a truth he would keep to himself, and only himself. A truth so shocking, so dreadful. This was fundamentally an outrageous, scandalous truth.
Deep within his mind, Dream's voice repeated itself. "George!" The familiar, young male voice would shout, trying to grab his attention. Even though the voice was extortionately very loud, George didn't mind. He would never mind as long as he gets to hear Dream's sweet, enchanting voice. The sound of Dream calling his name, saying how he loved him jokingly in front of the growing fan base. As it turns out, George's love was genuine. Although he and Dream were close, he knew there was no way he could talk about it and seriously bring it up with him. It was so embarrassing for George to admit.
His face began to get flushed as his mind was lost in deep thought thinking about Dream. All he wanted was to see him; hear him say his name. He knew that was bound to happen shortly. And for the forty-eight hours.
