"Stay still." Baji said as he gently and delicately wrapped around the deep slice on your numb and aching palm.
'Ouch.' You slightly wince in pain as you feel the clean wrapped bandage cram and compress the wound on your subtle hands. "Why'd you even graze your hand, (Y/n)?" Baji queried, his same nonchalant yet worried tone of voice audible to your ears.
"Hmm. No reason." You tell him, your gaze thoroughly staring at the now wrapped and bandaged hand of yours. "No reason, really?" Baji states, his hands neatly keeping the supplies used to tend your wound into the kit.
"As I said, I just thought I was having a dream. Had to go and confirm it myself." You say as you pointed your index finger towards your neat and clean wrapped hand with its bandages, a gentle smile slowly lifting itself onto your tugged lips.
"What are you even smiling at?" Baji says, standing away from the couch as he looks at your simply smiling figure. "Oh, are you curious?" You query, your gaze shifting towards Baji, who was at the kitchen sink.
"Since you're curious I'll have to tell you then." You slightly stifle a small laugh as you lay low and sink onto the couch you sat on. "There are two reasons. One is because you helped me tend my wound and two is a secret." You say, your steady gaze, staring straight at the ceiling above you.
"You hiding something?" Baji once again queries, his gaze thoroughly shifting towards you, who laid down onto the fleccy and fluffy embrace of the couch. "No, not really. I just thought that you might do something even more reckless if I'd tell you."
"Wh--"
"Oh right."
Before Baji could utter a phrase, you cut him off mid sentence as you jolt your back up to sit back onto the edge of the couch. "There's gonna be a festival later, right?" You query Baji, your gleaming (e/c) eyes shifting towards Baji, who stood in front of the cleaned kitchen sink.
"Yeah. Think so." Baji says, drying his hands that had a few droplets of water with a dry hand towel. "Wanna go together, then?" You ask, standing away from the fleecy and fluffy couch beneath you.
"You know very well that I haven't been in a festival, right? Not even once." You tell Baji as you gaze towards him. "I wanna try going to a festival. And since it's going to be my first festival, I want to enjoy it with someone."
"You'll tag along with me, right?" You deliberately query, continuously remaining to stare at Baji. "You wanna go?" Baji queries, his eyes slightly sharp eyes somehow widening with surprise.
"Sorry, can't. I have something to find back home." Baji said, placing the slightly damped hand towel back to its tidy towel rack.
"You have something to find?" You simply ask, a slight of disappointment and despondency rushing thoroughly through you as you turn your gaze away from his.
"Mhm, it's important." Baji say, gazing towards you as he does so.
"Oh. Well, it can't be helped then. Thanks anyway." You say as you watched Baji head towards your door for him to take his leave, pair of dissatisfaction and displeasure leering into your (e/c) eyes.
"I'll see you later." Baji said, bidding his farewell to you as he took his leave, gently closing the door.
"I'll see you later?" You curiously question yourself, muttering the words out underneath your shallow breath. "Well whatever."
"Still though, what a waste." You quietly and spotlessly sulk to yourself as you bring yourslef to sigh. "Too bad he doesn't wanna come with me. Guess I'll have to go alone."
