As soon as his heartbeat faded away completely, and his skin lost its once warm temperature, Gon calmed down. It felt so good to finally get rid of that scum. Gon sighed and all of his tense limbs relaxed, making him drop the syringe in his hand. His once white and clean high school uniform shirt was tainted with red in certain places. He easily killed the main attraction. And finally, he has you all to himself. The setting sun shined into the empty school hallway. It was after school and Gon was ready to get the hell out of here and clean up.

He looks over to the side and walks to his dropped backpack before walking down the way he came. He looks up and his body freezes in fear. At the end of the hallway, hiding behind the corner is you. You happened to witness the entire killing of one of your good friends and is in shock. Gon drops his backpack and reaches his hand out to your direction. His voice is caught in his throat at the sight of you staring at him in fear. The last thing he wanted was you to be scared of him. Your soft sniffles are heard by him, making his heart wrench in guilt and sadness.

"(Y/n)-" you flinch at him saying your name and run off as fast as you could. You drop your own school back as tears run down your face. Unfortunately for you, Gon was way faster than you could imagine and quickly caught you in his arms. "Yo- you were supposed to see that! I promise I won't hurt you, okay?!" You couldn't hear a thing he was saying, considering you were scared for your life. And with how fast he fought you even with all that space between the two of you, you wouldn't be able to escape him any time soon. He let you go and spun you around so you were facing him and he held your face in his hands. You locked eyes with him, his eyes seemed so innocent and beautiful despite the fact that he just killed someone a few minutes ago.

"(Y/n). I....I love you. A lot. I had planned to take you to the fair this weekend...and we would play a lot of games. And maybe we would kiss on the ferris wheel. Oh- w-wait here!!" Gon let you go and quickly ran back to the crime scene before appearing in front of you again with a large bouquet of flowers in his hand before giving it to you. The different arrangement of flowers and beautiful scents filled your nose. You were distracted for a second before looking back at Gon with a sad look in your eyes. "Don't you love me too?" You stared at him, scared of answering his question.

"I......love you." You regret saying those words but didn't dare thinking about what could've happened if you said no. Tears started to fall down Gon's face as he smiles a big smile. He engulfs you in a hug, spinning you around. Some of the blood on his shirt rubs onto yours. "We're gonna do so many things together! Oh, I can't wait!" He wipes the tears from your face. You definitely could wait. You wanted to get as far away from him but now your life was tied with his.
