3. The news

*Harry's POV*

"I said... That you're right. She's awesome." Harry says awkwardly. Hmm. What's up with him? Oh well.

I follow after Madi and help her get ready. As we're leaving I notice the way Harry looks at her. It's not the way he SHOULD be looking at her. I glare at him, grabbing Madi's hand and kissing it. He looks away. I can't believe I'd never noticed it before. Harry fancies my girlfriend. MY girlfriend. Who is pregnant with MY baby.

We pull into the hospital parking lot and I shoot Harry a look. When were in, we tell the secretary our names and she tells us to go on in. We walk into a room with a machine that looks like a Telly hanging on the wall and a chair facing it.

The doctor comes in and tells Madi to sit in said chair and she follows instructions. I grab her hand.

The doctor puts a gel on Madi's stomach and rubs a little wand looking thing over it. The screen comes to life and there's out baby. So tiny.

"Lets see..." The doctor says slowly. "Looks like... You two... Are having... A baby girl!" I can't hold in my excitement. I just for joy. A girl! My baby girl!

"Oh. Wait... A second..." I stop jumping and stare at her intently.

"What? Is everything okay?" Everything has to be okay. HAS to.

"Well...looks to me... As though..." I don't much like her way of talking. To many pauses!

"What?! What?! Just tell us!" She chuckles.

"Yep. You guys are going to have..." If she doesn't stop, I swear..."TWINS!" I look quickly at Madi and smile so big my cheeks hurt.

"TWINS?!" I ask.

"Yep." She says. "This one is definitely a girl... And this one..." She moves the wand thing over to the other side of Madi's stomach and squints at the screen. "It looks like a boy, but it's turned at a strange angle so I can't really tell. But almost definitely a boy." I can't believe she just said that with only 1 unnecessary pause! Madi stands up and hugs me tight.

Harry caught and she pulls away. "Oh Louis!" She says, kissing me, "I'm so happy!"

"Me too, love!" The doctor hands us our ultrasounds.

"Here you go. You're free to leave." We go to the car and Harry sulks the whole way home. I don't know what his problem is. He's the one who wanted to come with us in the first place.

*Harry's POV*

I think Louis heard me and Madi talking. I think he may know the twins are mine. Twins! We're having twins! I mean, THEY are having twins. And to add insult to injury, they were both all over each other the whole trip. I wish I'd beer even came. I didn't even want to look at them. So I just listen to my iPod until we get home.

When we get home, Madi and Lou go to the kitchen. I, of course, stay in the living room. I sit on the couch before yelling "I'm going to text Niall, Liam, and Zayn and tell them to come over, okay?"

"Okay! Tell Nialler to bring some Nando's!" Lou shouts back. I text the three, telling Niall about Nando's. I also tell him that I need to talk to him. He's the only one who knows how I feel about Madi.

About five minutes later, I hear "vas happening?!" And say hi to Zayn. About five minutes after that, Liam walks in.

"Hello. Where is everyone?"

"We'll Zayn, Louis, and Madi are in the kitchen. Niall's not here yet, he's getting Nando's."

He nods, heading to the kitchen. "Thanks." I smile and when he leaves, it fades. Now I just gotta wait for Niall.

Speaking of Niall, he bursts in. "I got Nando's!" I smile at him.

"Can I talk to you?" He puts the food on the coffee table.

"Sure."

"Okay. My bedroom?"

He puts his hands up. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, I mean, I like you just as much as the next guy, but I don't want any Narry action." He jokes.

"Very funny. Now come on."

He laughs and follows me. Once we're alone, I sit on the bed. "Niall, I don't know what to do."

"About Madi?" I nod. "Harry, you've gotta try to get over her. She pregnant with Lou's kid, for gods sake."

"That's the thing, Niall! That baby, well babies, she's havin twins, but they aren't Lou's! They're mine!" He blinks.

"Wh-what?"

"Yeah. One night, I finally kissed Mads... And it went a little too far. That's why she's been avoiding me! That's why she's pregnant! THAT is why I can't just get over her! It's not just some childish crush!"

*Madi's POV*

"No, lads. I think we should wait till all of us are here before we tell you." Louis says. I nod. Two sighs from the other side of the table.

"But..." Zayn starts.

"No buts. We're waiting for Niall and Harry."

"Where are they?" I ask. Zayn shrugs.

"I think they went upstairs." He says. I nod and go to look for them. I want my Nando's. I Have three people to feed now!

I hear voices from Harry's bedroom, so I open the door. There, in the middle of the room was Harry and Niall, hugging. Harry says in Niall's ear "I just lover her so much. I hate seeing them together."

"Narry is REAL!" I shout. They shoot away from each other, just realizing I was there. I laugh. "So Harry." I say, sitting on his bed, but then getting up because that's where... "It" happened. "Who's this girl you love?"

Him and Niall share a glance.

"Uh... No one." Harry says, looking down at his feet.

"Come on! You can tell me! I want to know!" I press. Harry sighs.

"Fine. It's..."
