Someone is staring at him, Soonyoung can feel it. It's not like he's not used to it but for pete's sake, he's eating. And so, Soonyoung raise his head and found staring eye to eye with someone, someone named Jeon Wonwoo whose sitting by the table, few tables away from him.

Jeon Wonwoo is a nerd. But he's not your typical nerd. He's actually liked and admired by many, his cold looking eyes, good looking face and intelligence makes many students head over heels for him. He don't want to admit it, but Soonyoung is actually envious to the guy but that fact isn't new anymore. Soonyoung is envious to anyone who he see as better than him.

Soonyoung have always thought that life is unfair to him, only him. He's not a musical genius like Jihoon, he's not as good as Minghao or Jun in dancing or as handsome or good looking and talented as the junior named Kim Mingyu whose friends with Minghao and of course he's not as intelligent as Jeon Wonwoo. He can only wish, wish to be someone he's not, wish to be someone he always dreamed about, wish to be someone whose admire for being the best but still humble, wish to be someone who isn't corrupted by his own insecurities. Soonyoung can only wish.

Their eye contact broke when Jihoon slip himself on the chair in front of Soonyoung, blocking his view on Wonwoo.

"Jihoon..." What are you doing here?

"Hey Soons" That's it? After you left me standing there at the hallway like an idi--

"You remember Seungcheol? The senior?" The one you necer stoped talking about? The one who you always stare at, like he's a diamond ring? The one you like and veen dreaming of--

"Yeah... What about--"

"He asked me out!!" Jihoon exclaimed. His voice sounds so happy, almost the happiest that Soonyoung ever heard from him.

"Isn't that great?! My first crush, almost first love ask me out!" First love huh...

"What about his other admirers? You know, those girls"

"They can only dream Soons, what's more important is their dream guy is mine now!" What about me Hoon? Am I not important to you? Am I really that worth leaving? Am I really that worthless? Am I--

"Hey! Soon! Are you listening to me?!"

"Oh, sorry Ji. What is it again?"

"Geez, you really need to stop daydreaming but like I was saying, I can't walk home with you today"

"We're gonna have our first date Soons" Why do you sound so excited Hoon? Is walking home with me ain't as exciting as going on a date with that--

Soonyoung start to pack his things, not caring if his bestfriend doesn't even start to eat or even order his lunch.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"I... umm... I need to study for a test. Bye Jihoon" With that Soonyoung walk past the cafeteria tables to the door, leaving Jihoon dumbfounded because for the first time, Soonyoung left him without a proper and true reason. But when Jihoon saw a familiar guy walking past the cafeteria doors, he feel the rage started to creep into his skin like a rekindled fire.

"Jeon Wonwoo huh? So that's why... A reunion isn't bad for a year end, huh Soonie?" With a smirk evident on his lips, Jihoon stand up, leaving the cafeteria, heading straight to the old University library, the only place where everything unveils.
