Way back. Before the age of quirks.
God was angry, fuming.
Satan had done a terrible thing, he had decided to give the human race godly power.
God had to keep the human away from others, or he would kill him.
He chose the latter.
But that meant they both had broken their promises.
No killing.
No giving power away to humans.
The war begun, angels powering up.
Demons and souls were charging.
This went on for 10 years.
After the war, they made a truce.
Satan could be cruel, but only in his own world.
God could... be god?
They made the truce by creating the guardian.
If this was to happen, they would be stopped.
They put half of their souls into the clay figure, usually, that would be an angel's soul.
Now this one human, has the power of god and satan.
But the war never came, even after half a century, nothing happened.
The truce was kept.
The guardian had no use.
It was just a clay figure, gathering dust.

Let me tell you about the cycle of humans.
God has to make a few thousand clay figures, and he puts a select group of angel souls into them.
He pushes them down to Earth, where they live, decide, and die.
They either go to the underworld to be punished, or to heaven, to live a peaceful life, until they get chosen.
This is reincarnation.
The guardian, however, doesn't have an angel's soul.
The soul of god and satan are in him.
Yin and yang.
Light and darkness.
good and evil.
One day, God was going for his afternoon shit.
He had just eaten a bowl of holy macaroni and a plate of beef from the same holy cow that made the milk to make the cheese in the mac.
His belly was fuming, and he had to hold on to something.
He accidentally knocked the clay figure down to Earth.
