Dione watched as her eggs became larva and their spots were replace by more white dots. The cycle was continuing, and soon the Queen would have the nests of her daughters spread throughout the land. She couldn't help but wonder how significant this was. She was just made to lay eggs. Was she worthless? What did she do for anyone? The entire nest was just to make and sort eggs. What did they do to help anyone? What was their purpose? Life was strange. Thoughts hurt sometimes, and this was one of those times. Her head felt like it was being pounded. She was getting older and couldn't deal with stress any longer. She needed healthier eggs. Looking at the larva, she watched as they twitched in place. The life cycle was so strange. Egg, larva, pupa and then an adult. The change in body was insane. They morphed so quickly, too.
