OK SO I FEEL I MAY NEED TO CLARIFY SO HERES THE EXPLANATION NO ONE ASKED FOR 

um they never met in middle school, the whole match thingy went down its just Hinata played against another team, not Kags'. Does that make things clearer? was anyone even confused? probably not. so yeah remember to eat, drink, and find a bestie that cuddles with u and helps hide the ded bodies under your floorboards. enjoy ^^

(Timeskip-Hinata's first day of high school)

Third person P.O.V.

"So honey, have you seen your soul mate yet?" asked Hinata's mom.

"Yeah," Hinata said with a small smile. "She's really pretty. Long black hair, beautiful blue eyes. Oh and she's shorter than me too!"

"That's great sweetie! I'm so happy for you! Maybe you'll meet her in high school," his mom said with a wink.

The thing is, he had seen his soul mate. They did have black hair. And the prettiest blue eyes. 

But his soul mate was a boy.

In his dream that night, he had finally seen him. The person he had wanted to see for 2 years. The first thing he had seen was the boy's eyes. Gorgeous ocean blue eyes.  Hinata could get lost in them. But once he snapped out of his trance, Hinata realized the person he was looking at was a male. Then, he woke up. That was it.

Why would he lie to his mom? He was worried that she wouldn't accept her son's soul mate being a boy. 

'I've always questioned my sexuality, but I've never had a significant other to start with. My mom's a kind woman, and I doubt she would hate me for liking a boy. That's why I don't know why I'm so worried,' he thought while getting dressed for school.

He finished getting dressed, said goodbye to his mom and Natsu, and head out the door. 'It's my first day of high school! I wonder how many new friends I'll make!' he thought.

Hinata's P.O.V (At school)

I parked my bike and RAN past everyone. 

'I need to get to the gym! No one seems to understand my love for volleyball, so maybe someone on the team will understand!'

As I reach the gym, I ran inside, super excited to see what it's like. 

That's when I saw him.

The guy from my dream last night. The one I never really got to see. The boy with the beautiful ocean blue eyes. The boy i lied to my mom about.

My soulmate.
