" Taily Bone, Taily Bone, give me back my Taily Bone."

Tom Billsby  heard it again. He didn't know where the voice was coming from, or who was saying it. It sounded like the snakes and lizards outside his cabin. It made him shiver, because he absolutely loathed reptiles, especially lizards. Just today one of the little boogers snuck up on him while he was hunting. He was so surprised and scared that he cut the lizard's tail off with his machete. The tail was still in his pocket, even though he didn't know why he still had it. Maybe he could use it as a good luck charm.

Later that night Tom was still hearing that voice. He decided to go and look around outside to see if he could find anything. So he got out of bed, pulled on his hunting boots, then grabbed his shot gun and flashlight. As He opened the door he was met by a terrifying image. A wall of lizards, snakes, alligators, and all types of reptiles he couldn't even name was looming before him. And they were all led by a tiny lizard without a tail, chanting in an eerie hissing voice, " Taily Bone, Taily Bone, give me back my Taily Bone."
Tom then did what any human would have done. He ran. He ran as far as he could go, stumbling on loose rocks and dying plant life. But in the end the lizard finally caught up to him. Tom watched from the swampy ground as the tailess lizard held up one scaly claw to signal for the others to stop. He then scurried over to Tom, took something out of the man's pocket and whispered something to him. The lizard then flicked his head and the wall of reptiles came crashing down on the poor man, hissing, clawing and biting at the soon motionless figure. But the tiny lizard just walked away whispering " Taily Bone, Taily Bone, he gave me back my Taily  Bone."
